hi philjonc, dimensions of the nautilus are roughly 65x70x50cm (WHD). yes, cash price is less 10%...

we have the taurus with black glass at the store. the nautilus & new centauri b share the same materials. only the dimensions are different...

hi threadlock, the new racks (nautilus, taurus, & new centauri) are not modular, & each layer is is attached to the 4 posts. they can be separated but they would require additional caps & footers. they're not like the crescendus, in which every layer can be used as is...

the crescendus a can now be ordered in black frame with black glass, or silver frame with frosted glass...

Sorry I was not able to inform Chad fully on all the features of the new series:

the Nautilus, Taurus & new Centauri are EXPANDABLE. STACKABLE option also possible w/ optional spikes(below)
Spikes are optional and can even be placed BETWEEN layers! The new Sabre racks have a system for this and I will demo it w/ pics soon. You can even buy 4 sets of spikes & turn it to 4 layers with spikes like the Crescendus, its gonna be costly nga lang.
One Nautilus layer can be turned into an AMP STAND (spikes optional as usual)!
note: spikes sold separately on clear glass, frosted & black glass models.
MDF model has spikes for FREE

The big spike catch is modified to double as a top cap of the glass. Therefore this system can not ONLY fit the lowest layer of the rack, but also in BETWEEN the shelves!
Mix n' match: This is dealer dependent. Mix n match between frosted glass, clear glass, black glass or MDF layers w/ this fully modular design. A great idea for those who dont trust tempered glass would be to use MDF for your top layer!

You have to see this personally guys. Iba pa rin talaga compared to picture lang.

What about the floating mount for Plasma/LCDs? It's no longer included? I believe it's Centauri A, based on the old model.

Sir the new floating mount model: Centauri A has been reinforced w/ a new 10mm thick top glass. Thats way more than enough peace of mind (we never had any problems with our older 8mm thick Centauri's! even w/ 50 inchers!) for your TV. Most more expensive racks still use 8mm for their top layer.

New Centauri A is also available in black post (clear glass) to match the new black plasma/LCD's coming out!!!

ALL new Centauri B (clear, frosted, black glass) also have reinforced 10mm top glass!

The stock audio rack has;
**4 layers of optional type of glass.
**no spikes (but optional with extra charge)
---should I consider adding another layer(5th,6th...), the added layer would have the spike? how much is the cost of additional layer?
**non-spiked rack is fixed, or screwed?
**cable management
**what is the material of the posts? sand fillable?
**approx weight of the whole rack?

waaa.. kung alam ko lang na may lalabas na ganitong Audio Rack (nautilus), hinintay ko na lang muna sana at nde muna binili yung crescendus .. waa.. i was hoping pa naman sana for a rack na may cable management..

No the added layer does not include the spike, its expensive kasi. If you see the finish, weight & workmanship of the spikes, you will understand why. Additional layer is around 2k+. Please ask the handsome AA guys
