Finally got the amp 3 nights ago....although per Jojo's advise that the amp is not yet fully broken-in, e i just feel that i need to share already my findings so far with the little listening time I've had....baka rin kasi makalimutan ko na mag post.
In a word, FANTASTIC ika nga ni Cal....voices and instruments now have more flesh in them, more so on good recordings where-in the silhouettes of singers and instruments can be seen. The GC also threw a huge soundstage and depth, giving a lifelike image of the band playing in the room. Tone, wow, never heard the electric guitar sound so, well ah..electric...di na ma describe...Never thought hi-end will grace my room.
Anyway i guess it's clear that i'm doubly satisfied with the GC. I just had a few hours with the unit but i know that i'll be pleasantly surprise in the coming days.
Thanks Jojo for a great product! Highly recommended for those longing for hi-end sound especially so at a ridiculously bargain price.

+100...... I got mine 6 weeks ago! And i strongly agree with TonyC's description of how the GC present the music as a whole!
They continue to become more refined as time passes... BREAK-IN IKA NGA! What is the most pleasant aspect of the Monos, is the three dimensional nature of the sound stage. A closed mic recordings gives you an illusion of being in front of the musicians at a specific spot.
In the “Perfectly Frank” album, You can feel Tony Bennett is standing in front of you. Nuances of the recordings are evident; you can hear Bennett take heavy breaths between lines.....sign of old age....
In track 10 of the Paramita cd, you can feel the impact of the mallett hitting the skin of the tympani and the air produced by the impact,....... as if you are sitting 2ft away from the drums!
Very transparent!!! And also in Sinatra-Jobim Duets...... that while Sinatra was singing the "Girl from Ipanema" you can say that Jobim is playing the lead guitar and in a sitting position.... Parang nasa kwarto ko lang sila!!!!
I've been listening with this MONOS for more than 6 weeks now, and all I’m hearing is the clearest and very focused transients, articulated and tuneful bass, it can retrieve dynamics even in low level listening and the most transparent and honest sound" Very highly recommended!!!!!
