I am so proud to see good buddies in the DIY scene get featured in our local papers and in the net, after so many years local DIYers has finally made a meaningful mark in the community we so love.
In my day job at diyAudio, DIYers are dubbed as the silent pillars of the audio world, ever so brave to venture into new realms in audio to R&D new and improve existing technologies where commercial manufacturers never dare to go.
As for me sir, I'd rather stay in the shadows. Knowing that I made something good for the audio community and most of all, seeing that priceless smile in people's faces is already more than enough recognition for me.
Passion drives us, and in the process we make new friends - that's the bonus. Keep it alive, I probably won't stop DIYing, I'd die if I do hahaha!

in my job i have always been marginalized, i have done several things beyond expectations an yet i dont get recognized in writing as compared to some other people who have done something exceptional but not beyond expectations yet get all the good write ups and accolades in writing, for quite sometime it makes me wonder why but everytime i speak to my boss about it he would simply say, "forget about the write ups as long as you and your number one customer, which is me knows you have done well, that should be enough and will be recognized in a way beyond expectations too."
