For me, the M Series is smoother in sound than the D series.  The M series will further improve with the DIY tweaks implemented as suggested by JojoD (O di na OT ha).  The D series has higher gain than the M Series which can handle earphones which are difficult to drive.  But again, you have the option to use a headphone amp.

+1... my suggestion is pickup the one with the electrolytic caps if you want to upgrade them or the smd types if you just want to use them out of the box.

Sir obsi, that uses tantalum smd caps. Ayus na yan!

Ay yun shorted plug thingy na lang try mo din para mawala whitenoise caused by the mic input.

Hi sir Jojo, was wondering if you could modify my CDRK sticks so that wala na mic input (grounded inside nalang), and just use the mic input 3.5 port as another output instead?  Hinina ba yung voltage out kung naka interal Y nalang yung output?  Plan to send output 1 to amp, then output 2 directly to sub.  Volume will be controlled by the laptop, and sub's  built-in x-o shall be used.

I can but not to add another output. It is really small space in there so hard to make modifications like that.

I don't like Y, I always split actively if I can help it. But in your case a Y connector should be more than enough. The sub has active circuitry that it's load will be negligible anyway.

Ah ok, masikip nga sa loob.  I found a 3.5mm Y that I can simply plug to it's output.

pwede na yun sir, just split the signal going to your main amp and subwoofer. that should give you a kickass 2.1 system.
