I assume you used the oil based one kasi wala nang water based poky sa ace. Keep it in a place where it can breathe (for at least a week) muna brader para di nyo nasisinghot yung odor nya. Medyo high voc (volatile organic compound) yan...

I tried hudson brand brader, may catalyst nga lang siya. So far mukhang ok naman, definitely a big improvement sa mga dati ko gamit na varnish. Oo nga grabe yun amoy, parang acetone kaya nag mask ako baka nakaka high. Pinakamatindi amoy yun sanding sealer, grabe sobra solve hehehe. Ilalabas ko na lang sa umaga, baka maulanan kasi sa labas. Will try ace poly sa next project para kay misis.

Palo china or pine is actually considered a hardwood, kahit some species are very soft. And yes favorite yan ng anay. Pero if you sealed it properly including the feet, you need not worry.... Unless nasa loob na sila  in which case wala ka ng magagawa but wait

I tried to seal it as best as I can brader, and yes pati feet, binaligtad ko pa nga to make sure I get every inch.

Ninerbiyos naman ako dun, can I use a stethoscope to probe kung meron na nga sa loob?
