Si amajay meron mura na honing guide (mura is relative of course)... It should be at least 5x cheaper than what I use.

Something I wanted as a child was a lathe. My uncle hadnone and made GI Joe bazooka bombs by hand. Turned mild steel into a bomb. Machined out the fins. Inggit na inggit ako.

Gino, madami dito sa amin lathe, madungis at bulky nga lang pero mura lang (relatively). Ang problema lang ang laki at problema ang paglalagyan. 3-phase pa ang power supply so mag request pa ng connection. Nakikigamit din ako minsan para lang matuto, bote-bote lang ang usapan. Sarap nga ng meron lathe ang dami pwede gawin.

Having a miter box is really a nice thing to have in the shop, congrats... It feels good to work without noisy powertools

but I love the accuracy they give......

Totally agree brad, ang bilis at sakto sa application ko...

But this weather is driving my cough and cold like crazy, slowing down a bit which gives me some time to ponder about how I will go about my automatic power tool and vacuum sensor switch.

Jo, may switch off delay ba yung para sa vacuum? 7seconds seem to be the sweet spot for us...

Meron, both for startup and shutdown. For startup baka less, just enough to make sure the spindle of the power tool is at operating speeds already (current draw will level-off at this point).
