I've used the Shure V15 types 3 and 4, which were identical, as early as 24 years ago, but not the type 5. It looks similar to previous types though. The V15s are similar in sound to Audio Technica's 125LC and 152 LC. I still have the V15 type 4 and you can still buy used V15s abroad at prices ranging from $50 to $100 (Amoeba Music - Haight St. SFO and Telegraph St in Berkeley.)

Jing De Guzman's Audiophile shops used to carry this model and back in early '80s, you could buy used V15s, including stylus, at less than P1K in Dau. I got an original replacement stylus for the V15 type 4 four years in ago in SFO at $50. The price range, I was told, depends on availability of supply. For practicality and price efficiency , available Shure models such as M95, 75, 55 and 44 are good enough especially if you want to hear bass. Replacement stylus for these models are available at Raon.

Bro,

How much does the Project 2 TT cost?  Looking to try the vinyl format.....while we're on the subject in terms of availability of vinyl albums to choose from is there a large market in the Philippines? Do new albums still get released on the vinyl format?

bring your cartridge assembly (including stylus) to Raon. it should have a replacement there (including P-mount type). the price should range from P300 to P600 for replacement stylus, mostly Taiwan made. Technics makes a lot of cartridges for their turntables but these are relatively not good in quality and meant to be replaced by those made by dedicated cartridge manufacturers.

Montage at Greenbelt 3 has quite a few titles, presumably sealed and new.  Tower records I think also has.  There's really an insignificant market for vinyls locally.  I thing there are Very few albums relased in this format.

is the tonearm, cartridge and stylus available as a set in raon?
