rond, hirap nga humanap ng M74.  i've been keeping mine together with M71i for surrounds and M7c1.  medyo bitin lang yung centers, pero ok lang.

i agree with matzter, if ever an owner of M70 serries will sell their speakers.  they'll sell it as a family.
benta ko na kaya...hehe.

I'm looking for m70 speakers (the smallest in the range) myself for rear surround duty. So, if anyone wants to unload these babies . . .  ;D ;)

had an HT session today at Matzter's truly Home Theater place...the M3s sounded perfectly with the HK (biwired with Ecosse CS2.3 in HF and Ixos 6006 in LF)  in 7.1 and seamless with the Velodyne CHT12R.

Amazing.

Thanks buddy!

Thanks for recommending this cable to me!  :)

I have just receive email from mission uk, since I have forwarded to them my problem, they have admitted that they have problems with the 78 range, but they did not recall since the by the time they found out it was too far down the line.   However, they advice us to contact local distributor here and arrange to change all of the bass mid units in the 78 speakers since they have the replacement units, The only charge is for us to should the cost of carriage..So all you 78 mission series owners take note of this..... :-[

I Bi amped my Mission M34 last night.

HK630 goes to the HF with Ecosse 2.3, then a Kenwood 130wpc THX amp powers the LF using IXOS6006.

Ganda! hataw sa sounds, super detailed!

It sounded almost as good as my friend's 100k speakers!

Galing talaga ng Mission! Value for money!

Deo: Yung model na gusto mo, pwede sand fill yung gitnang post.

Back to topic.

I auditioned Mission M51 at Spectra a few days ago, haay, ang ganda ng tunog. And I just auditioned Dali Ikon 6 floorstander a few mins before that and talagang panalo pa rin yung M51 bookshelf sa tunog (for my listening preference).

Pag may funds na sana may M53 pa rin available. M5 series talaga yung gusto ko before but di kaya ng budget, so nag M3 na lang muna.

That would not be possible since one is being sold at Archi Audio and the other at Spectra, but both stores didnt really have a big difference in their room displays. I had about 30 mins gap listening to the 2 speakers, so my comparison was memory based and not AB test in the same room.

Aside from the room, other factors have to be considered like the gears used, etc.  But like I said, my observation is based on my listening preference.

There was a guy there who was about to buy EPOS speakers but when he heard the M51 w/ me, he changed his mind, lol.

I just called the Mission distributor and he said that even though the mother company has been bought by IAG. Production resumes in U.K. but the Malaysia Factory is being moved to China.

So U.K. models are still available (like the M5), but Malaysia models are not for the meantime, until the China factory is operational.

So there you go folks. No need to be afraid of your speaker's service requirements or more importantly, depreciation.  ;D

Congrats to your friend!

Yun sana gusto ko, black. Pero walang center na black. So I had to get the rosewood. I have now upgraded from M3 to M5 (M52, center and M5 ds!) series and I am very happy with the new toys. I am still a missionaryo and I just love the sound of Mission speakers.

Aha! ikaw pala yun! haha!

Not to worry! you can call the distributor and ask him to order one for you.

Medyo konting hintay lang cuz it will come from the UK pa.

Kaso di pa nagrereply yung nagbebenta ng m74i from pampanga.  Still waiting for the pics na masend sa email. Not the right time for me to have a mission setup siguro  :'( :'( :'(

Mas feel mo rin yung bass sa m74i at mas crisp at malinis ang treble at mids although the m74i only has 2 woofers and a tweeter while the euros8 tower has 2 woofers, 1 mid and 1 tweeter.
