At 4ohms, RMS power of the amp is 15w (assuming you're comfortable pushing the amp at 10% distortion), that's 30w for both channels, then given the efficiency of the amp, around 80%, that should be be around 36watts maximum, for 12volts input, around 3 amperes should be sufficient. For 8ohm operation, it can be lower. How much did you buy the PSU? SMPS? Regulated? To have a better improvement, do all the mods possible on the amp. The stock amp starts to attenuate bass at 100hz.
