Stealth (Two-Disc Widescreen Edition) (2005)

Saw this one at Landmark and other dvd stores around mkt area.  And with slip case.  Haven't look the special features.  I'm with my wife and daughter kasi e. ;D

I think it mirrors the R1 release since it's priced at 895 and it's under columbia tri-star.

It is indicated at the back that it has a DTS track.   :o

I know Sony nowadays does not include DTS tracks anymore except for their superbit titles.  Correct me if I'm wrong...

If this title really has a DTS track then this is indeed a good news! ;D

I think the cheaper version is 1 disc while the other is 2 disc.

Aside from the usual language & sub-title options, features of the R3 2 Disc SE are the same as the R1 including DTS track (although it is not listed as a Superbit title). The making-of materials are quite extensive too.

R1 features from DVD Times:

English DD5.1 & DTS 5.1 Surround
Multi-Angle Scene Comparisons: “Escape From Alaska Explosion” (9:52mins) and “Welcome To Alaska” (7:24mins)
“Detailed and Declassified” In-depth Scene Deconstructions – an interactive look at two high-action scenes: “The Big Suck”  and “Kara’s Fall”
“Harnessing Speed”– three-part documenatary-style filmmaker’s diary that follows Rob Cohen from beginning to end of making the film (75:58mins)
“The Music of STEALTH” Featurette (23:32mins)
Incubus “Make A Move” Music Video (3:25mins)

Haven't seen the 1 disc version, so I'm not sure about the features. But if it's just the same as 1st disc of the SE, then it should include the Music of Stealth featurette, Incubus MTV, & several trailers for other films.

Re: 1 Disc its already flocking Video City for Rentals. Rent that to see what it differ to the 2 disc set.
Actually it has DTS track its confirm, saw it myself. One thing that disappoints me on the release is the TRate it only reaches 4.9, below 5.00. See some pixelated scene.

Just click the display button on your DVD player. It usually shows the transfer rate of the disc... ;D

I press " display" button in my Sony &  pressing twice in my  Pioneer dvd player . Audio & Video bit rate will display on screen. ;)
