Hi All,

I dont have 100 posts as of today, but I have more than 70 original DVD titles, will I qualify? Sana I will be included in the name list.

Mheloy, just a suggestion (just trying to help). Better make a list and check it twice, find out if they are naughty or nice...Saaanta Kkk...Teka tapos na Xmas...

Based from our experience with Blu, here are some suggestions that I am sure you will appreciate in the future, time saver too:

1.) Make a list of the titles you would need for the project. I think this is the crucial first step of this project. Agree upon it & make the list final, then:

2.)Then let the participants throw in what they can contribute. Criteria states that you need to contribute 5 titles per person this time. This is much harder than our previous project w/c only required only 1-3 DVD contributions. So the initial list of reservations is bound to change endlessly based from their contributions. And sad to say, many will be eliminated from this part alone.

3.)Make their 5 contributions more of a priority rather than their reservations, in the end you will realize it would be a better & time saving route. MAke it clear that you will prioritize DD-ex, DTS-ES & superbit versions over DTS or DD versions, and that you will accept DVD9s or originals only (it goes w/o saying, but it had to be mentioned). Believe me, P299.00 dvd5s will ruin the quality of your project. I had to make "pahabol" my Spiderman 2 superbit to replace a very grainy R3 clip.

4.)Elimination from the project is very likely for those with small collections. Let those with very big collections give way to those with smaller collections in order for them to be able to join the project. So that they could be able to contribute 5 dvds without being eliminated from the project. I am sure that the big collectors will still have a lot to contribute after the smaller collectors have given their titles.

My collection is small but it was based mostly on the "best sound" criteria, I had to wait for others to fill up their contributions before I gave mine. But in the end I was still able to contribute over a dozen titles (si ricky mga 20!). "Give chance to others" as children say...

Just my 2 cents trying to help & save your time.

Another thing, do not refer to our Ultimate Demo disk, in terms of what chapter, what movies to include. Baka kc maging replica lang ng Part one project nyo. Make your project unique. Good luck.

Maglalaway DirtyDozen only if all 3-discs of Part2 are all Superbits/DTS ES

Part One is very hard to surpass contents-wise

Almost all the blockbusters are there.

Blu and matt, comment lang if i may, yung suggestions nyo regarding not to refer to the titles on the ultimate demo disc i feel medyo mahirap yon para sa kanila since most of the titles we used are the good ones na talaga and im quite sure na they would also want that same titles.Ngayon kung hindi nila pwede use that ano pa matitira sa project 2?

baka pwede naman lets give them a free hand on their project,hayaan muna natin sila to compile the scenes they want,probably the same titles but diff scenes naman and diff editing or arrangement.Oo ako gusto ko unique yung atin , na walang kagaya pero it would be unfair for this project kung very limited na yung titles and scenes that they can use. sorry dirty dozen ha, kasi i feel this is not our project anymore so we better not interfere

Agreed & understood. But my suggestion was for a better demo disk, & not really on having the same titles, which of course, is absolutely unavoidable. I even suggested many titles which we didnt have in ours, these would make this project a better one.

I also feel that this isnt our project anymore, but I believe my suggestions could help. Its all up to them if they want to listen to it or take my advice or not. Di naman ako magtatampo if they dont follow my suggestions.

para talagang maiba... I suggest we include a few select DTS concert clips on one of the DVDs na outstanding talaga like those from U2 Slane Concert and Madonna's Drowned World Tour... if all agree I'm voluneteering my both my dvds.. baka merong may EWF/Chicago dyan... want to include the Drum Duel extra...

Here are my DTS DVDs which can be used along with suggested clips not sure if some have been included in the Demo 1 set:

U2: Go Home Live: Sunday Bloody Sunday (good percussions)
Madona: Drowned World Tour: Don't Tell Me & La Isla Bonita (good vocals and acoustic guitar)
Josh Groban: Vincent ) (vocals and acoustic guitar)
The Lion King: stampede scene
The Fast & the Furious: Tricked Out Ed: The first race scene
Das Boot: Superbit: any of the underwater battle scenes
Band of Brothers: the bombing of Bastogne
Gladiator: Battle at Germania and Battle of Carthage
LOTR Trilogy:EE: any of the battle scenes with lots of horses
Top Gun: dogfight scenes
Saving Private Ryan: DD day landing and final battle scene
Akira: the last fight scene
Kill Bill: Vol. 1: Japanes Colored Ed: the fight at the house of leaves (tama ba?)
Etc... Etc...

I said, do not refer to our project for what chapter and movie to include and not saying do not include what we already have. Avoid our project as reference material.
