which are not in your lists. I'll just give to Bluray my original dvd copies. Anyway, my office
is just one block away from him and I know maingat talaga sya in handling our dvds as experienced on our Demo 1. I'll give you pm Blu, in case some nice titles I have are not in your lists.

Thanks Aldrin. That would be a wonderful addition to the project.

Danrd is right. The Island would make a great addition to the demo disk. Another Michael Bay movie. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is also another Michael bay movie in DTS-ES.

Also suggest:

Fight Club DDex
Prince of Egypt DTS
Wallace and Gromit (wonderful movie!)

I also have to rush watching the new Chinese DVDs I bought. Most of these Chinese/ Hong Kong DVDs utilize surrounds and DTS-ES a lot. Even the 2046 I watched last night had very active surrounds (but not demo disk material) and nice soundtrack. Among these DVDs are Chinese Tall Story, Seven Swords, House of Fury, Fearless, etc etc.

Pchin, have you watched any of these? Any of em good for demo material?

The Promise is a must have for the project.

Are you now considering to include the titles already present in Demo 1 and 2? Titles like Prince of Egypt, Super Speedway, Fast & the Furious, Matrix Revolution, Hotel California (Hell freezes over) are in Demo 2. While underworld is already in Demo 1 together with Matrix Revo.

Sir, salamat po...and sa trust na ibinigay nyo sa akin sa Part I Demo disk.

Sa handling ng dvds, maingat tlaga ko kc wala ako pambayad hehehe. Naisip ko na rin after ng part one na wag na ako magka-part two kc ayaw ko talaga humiram sa di ko kilala. Pero heto pa rin tayo...anyway...saka para makatulong na rin ako sa iba, and para magkaroon din ako ng kopya ko. Bihira lang kc magkaroon ng ganitong chance...na may magcontribute ng rare titles. Sa mga di qualified, wag mawalan ng pag-asa...basta ituloy nyo lang yung collections nyo...dadami rin yan...and lagi kayong mag-share ng idea dito sa site natin. Ako wala ako gaanong mai-share kundi demo disk lang...and masyadong busy rin hehehe.

BTW, sa mga planong magcontribute...di po kasama mga Limited, rare and other expensive collections. Regular dvd lang sana and as much as possible, burnt copy (2 separate dvd-5 blank disk - dvd-9 kasi original) Movie disk lang, di na kasama yung special features disk.

I watched DOOM unrated last night. Its got some scenes good for demo.

The FPS view was cool, very nostalgic for FPS gamers (like me), but a bit too graphic.

Also previewed Ghost in the Shell Innocence disk 2. Its got 6-8 tracks of audiophile quality music in 5.1 plus magnificent Ghost in the Shell CGI rendered cartoons (parang MTV). This is a must, blu! When you pass by the house for the remaining DVDs, I will demo this to you. The 2nd to the last one was the best IMO. I will listen to all tracks later.

We are forming our list based from those titles that we were not able to include in Demo 1. There are also a few nice scenes from part 1 that were discovered late (to be good for the demo) like HOFD, Sky Capt, etc. that might be added (same movie but different chapter). But they will all go through a process of elimination in the end... only the best 5.1 HT scenes will be retained.

sir matz, hirap mag-contribute since most of the good titles are included in the 1st and 2nd project already. hopefully, you may raise the bar with this next release by including mostly full bit releases or with variety of materials which cant be found on usual demo discs.

question, when you say demo disc, is AQ the priority? from the titles i have seen so far, excellent PQ is seldom highlighted?
