Hey guys I think all of us has work tom, but the point is this gathering has been planned long ago(2weeks) and nobody among those who cant come

even bothered to suggest another date

'Got a text from Blu earlier and most likely am one of those who replied "sorry, I have work tomorrow." Well, i really feel sorry but the truth is - am not like most of you who can take a leave at will. As explained to Blu, we have a lot of year-end processing preparation and system support to do. Just to let you know, just arrived from the office because I need to attend to some ATM Interface issues. Until today, Pinoydvd is still not accessible in the office so I have to spend some time (here in the house) browsing this thread now while my kids and my wife are upstairs waiting for me.

Am not making any excuses and I don't mean disrespect to Blu when I begged off but we also have to be considerate. I don't know about the others but attending a 1:00pm affair tomorrow is too challenging for me. An after office meeting would be more feasible for me, but that's me, am not the one making the call. Kung andyan pa kayo by 7:00pm, 99.9% makakapunta ako.

Sa totoo lang, inggit na inggit ako sa inyo - taking a leave at will... anytime. Baka may bakante sa opisina ninyo, pa-applyin nyo naman ako.

Thats what im trying to point out

that if you cant be available on the proposed date atleast you can suggest another time and place that can be convenient to you guys.

I think the reason why blu scheduled it tom at 1pm is bec nobody reacted much earlier and thus assumed silence means YES

. Sorry compaq if you feel im being inconsiderate here but im sure i am not

As for work,you just dont know the whole story

Blu et al,

As per text message, I'm out of town and will be back Thursday evening. I was really looking forward to this party but it seems otherwise. My home PC has been down for 3 weeks due to a virus attack. If and ONLY IF the date would be postponed to a later date I just might be able to join you guys. My suggestion is a SATURDAY if a weekend or a Wed or a Thursday afternoon if on a weekday. I was not aware of this development until Blu's text message. Mat, I heard you're in the process of another upgrade and so is Ricky...Hmmm another dream setup in the making. Well I am guilty of just sharing my titles and not even participating to finish the DEMO disc. When I go home I have only have a short time logging on the net. Me and my wife have shifting skeds and have to make quality time together with our daughter. Not that I'm making palusot or something. But this is the only time in the season that you and your family have the quality time. And I must admit that I'm not that active like before. I think that all of us have more free time after the new year maybe friday or saturday next year. 1st or 2nd week.

Yes, I too want to congratulate the comittee namely Blu Ray, MATZter & Ricky for asserting such a tremendous effort on this long tedious project regardless the hardship & many sleepness nights encountered in order to make this a successful project.

Also a big THANK YOU to Ernie for the professional & high quality printing & all the participants who lend/contributed their precious DVD tittles! It was a great EB yesterday & I had a wonderful time meeting you all (esp those for the first time: Ricky, ESI, compaq) & simply can't get enough watching at Mat's nice & cozy HT...

Nice to meet you guys yesterday at Matz place. Sorry I wasn't able to stay long. Me & my wify have to go to a long planned small family reunion. I like to stay pa . I love you're HT brod matz.

I also like the Demo disc and the packaging. Much much better than R1 boxsets. I'm sorry guys and I hope I can make bawi the next time. (if there's any). My work sked just kills me (God I hate shifting skeds & my work) :'(. If there is another demo disc project. I think I can't be in it anymore. There's other members that can be more helpfull and can actively participate than me. well I there we can add to the criteria of "members with shifting sked are not allowed" hehe.
