To be matched with NAD C320BEE. For audio only - Jazz, Vocals, 80's music. Appreciate your thoughts po... so I'll know what to watch out for when I audition.

Thanks in advance.  :)

i think you better audition it for the klipsch its more on clarity cause it uses horn instead of tweeter
try going to spectra they carry those brands

Appreciate your initial thoughts po.

Hi drawde.

Just the B2 and the RB-25? There are quite a number of good speakers at that price point. You may want to try them too.

Thanks Sir bumblebee for the quick response. Any suggestions of any other brand of bookshelf speakers, within the same price range, will be very much appreciated as well -- front-firing port is preferred though.

I just started my options with the two speakers I mentioned based on my reviews to this thread and their aesthetics (aesthetics more of wife's requirement  ;D).

Thanks again.

WAF ba? Mordaunt-Short na hehehe

I too, considered sensitivity and port placement when I was new here (still a newbie hehehe). Then, I realized that it was all about the sound. Almost all the brands here have very good entry level models. For the NAD C320BEE, try AE Evo1's. I would :)

WAF nga sir!  ;D Especially since set-up will be at our living room...have to be very discreet with my approach.

Anyway, will include the AE Evo1's in my list of options. I remember reading some favorable reviews about these speakers. Salamat po ulit.

Reviews

"My [review] notes [on the RB-25] were full of phrases such as 'excellent dynamic contrasts,' 'quick' and 'dynamic freedom.' Some of the other speakers seemed dull and boring after the Klipsch [RB-25]."

—Michael Jones, FFWD, April/May 2004

"Playing the Mahler [Mahler's Symphony #1], the Klipsch [RB-25] sounded very open and the string sections were well differentiated. On the Might Sam track [Give It Up To Love] it was easy to hear into the mix, the mighty one's voice was very articulate, and there was an inviting warmth to the guitar's tone."

—Michael Jones, FFWD, April/May 2004

"The Klipsch is the perfect speaker if you need your music to be lively and dynamic."

Have no idea about MA B2, I didn't heared them but for Klipsch RB-25 it is an excellent speaker at it's price. I heared them when I purchased my RF-25. It has a crystal clear sound and excelent imaging. Much it with a very good sub (i used velo cht-8) and you will be in heaven...........Trust me.........

Klipsch RB-25 trully all around speakers. HT, audio SS/tube remarkable for 94db sensitivity. Being owner of RB-3 & SB-2 you will have more flexibility.  You need to audition them side-by-side in order to know them well.
