Hello po..


Newbie lang po and need help/comments sa plan kong set up .


Yamaha RX-V650 7.1 channel, 945W ( 135 x 7 max )
Diamond 9.6 or 9.5
Diamond SR or WH3
Diamond CS or CM
SW150 or 250

Prefered ko na po sana rx-v650..( or any suggestion with same or lower price are welcome. )..pls. help naman po sa speaker selections.
Planning to set up this amp. into 5.1 po muna saka nalang yong ibang channel.

I bought my Yamaha650 at Listening in Style Shangri-la at 19,900 pero naka-haggle ako ng discount dahil wala ng box yung unit.     Try mo pa doon, meron pa akong nakita na isang unit na display...hindi naman ito ginagamit for demo kaya good condition pa siya.  Look for the owner, he "might" give you a good deal.

Avetc, entry level na speakers are Wharfes and Gale.  Meron din mga gumagamit na Wharfes dati na nagmigrate na to Gale.  You might want to look into this.

Pero, nice yung plan mo for your set-up - medyo not so entry level na yun...

Under construction pa ang project ko, I initially bought Wharfe's 9.1 for the fronts....puro music pa lang ang pini-play ko.  Para sa akin, these speakers are great for my type of music (acoustics, alicia keys) since they are really clear/transparent but may sound bright for others who opt for those "bassy" music.   I'm still looking for a sub (US Audio) then I'll buy those Wharfe 9 SR, DFS and CS.

Sir Ricky..tanong lang po, alin po mas ok sa front yong floorstander or yong 9.2?Alin po kaya dito sa mga listed
speakers ko yong best compatible sa rx-v650. ala na naman po kasi akong plan na mag up grade ( or matagal po siguro ) ang gusto ko lang po'y makapag set up ng maayos ng konti.,yong pang beginner po na aabot ng 3 ~ 4 years bago upgrade..thanks po

Avetc kung purely audio ka better get the floorstander para medyo sufficient na yung bass mo but if kung Ht gusto mo i suggest you just get the bookshelf and a subwoofer  .But in the end its really you,your ears and your budget that will best decide what to get,kaya audition audition audition  as for matching naman ikaw pa rin makakadecide on what to get, suggestions are here only to narrow your choices and never to dictate you  patience is a virtue so wag magmadali bro hanggang you're 110% sure para wala muna upgrades good luck bro on your quest.

Thanks po sa mga suggestion mo..kaylangan po talaga ng mga katulad ko yong mga suggestion na ganito..
ill take your advice..actually im planning to buy it na sa sunday..pero siguro palipas muna ako mga 1 or 2 weeks..
audition.. audition ( di ko pa nagagawa ) muna ako starting sunday.. pero worry ko lang baka maubusan ako
ng v650 pa phase out na ata to eh..sana dami pa dyan thanks sir pm nalang kita pag ok na set up ko.

Kamusta naman po performance ng v650 natin? nabasa ko pla don sa website ng wharfedale yong mga
recomended set up nila pag 9.4 at 9dfs na gamit eh dapat 9cm na center..oh sir baka bigla kayong magpalit
binta nyo nalang ng low price yong 9cs nyo  pero sir sakin dapat sir ha.. he he

info lang po... un naka display na rxv650 salistening in style ay may problem... kasi dapat un ang replacement for my brandnew unit but they said that after an hour of use mamamtay na. so they gave me a service unit na rxv540 ba un, then they offered to deliver the replacement at my place pero kc wala pa ako descent na speaker so i opted to pick it up at listening in style. by the way i got my 650 from listening room. thanks to minie of listening room and joan of listening in style for giving me good service...
