Both V-series & S-series have identical resolution, size, weight & features except in some areas where the V-series have better advantages in the following:
-Using the advance wide color gamut (CCFL) feature
-Has better brightness & contrast than the S-series
-Has HDMI & USB input
The above are the main differences that I notice so far.
As for the problem pointed out by levi which was discussed earlier, luckily SONY would kindly send their technical support team to your house to fix/upgrade the problem. It also affects RPTV 3LCD such as mine. I'm glad they had visited & completed the software upgrade on my set.
