I wasn't able to bring home any DVDs from this sale. All in my DVD wish list were gone 1st day pa lang :'(. Bawi na lang sa susunod na sale. Kahit umabsent sa trabaho.

got the ff over the weekend:

Wizard of Oz SE
Band Wagon SE
Saving Face
Titanic DE
Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Cinderella SE - disappointed to find out this is only 1 disc

Lady & the Tramp 2 - my son chose this. he immediately wanted to watch it when we got home, but the disc was defective & won't play. had to exchange it on Sunday.
Batman Anthology - no more copies left on the shelf, but someone overheard me inquiring with a sales lady & kindly gave me his extra reserved copy. THANKS AGAIN!!!

bro. we are after the movie. 2 disc na rin sya. okey naman yung DVDs as well as the Cover print. My wife loved the movie kasi kya we decided to buy it na. Dati sa presyong P425, ayaw pa namin. pero nung P299 na lang, go na kami.

Anybody here bought Happy Endings? Kasi dun sa cover nakalagay maraming special features (commentary, gag reel etc), but when I played the disc, trailer lang and special feature.

Sorry to say this, but I think you got the Budget Version. I was looking for the DVD9 and found out that it wasn't on sale. I think P895 was the price.

They shouldn't have listed all the special features at back of the cover, that was really misleading and just plain wrong. Anyway 895 ung me special features? sure ka ba dun? kasi kung mga 475 lang papaltan ka sana noon, payag kaya sila na exchange ko yung nabili ko dagdagan ko na lang yung kulang.

i usually try running it to my DVD rom drive, size is 4+gb for DVD5; 8+gb for DVD9

Sir look at the ring at the back of the DVD, if there aretwo rings of bar code, then it is DVD9 if it is just one then it is DVD5.

I'm not sure if the P895 has the special features too. I think it's best that you ask the store to try the P895 and see if it indeed carries the special features that are missing from the P475. Hopefully, they'll allow for you to have it replaced, since there really is some form of misrepresentation (blatant?) on Sony or Magna's part.

By the way i noticed na yung last sale sa astro ang nakuha ko yung budget version (475) ng hitch and the longest yard, not so good yung pq

I maybe jeopardizing my chances with F4 and Mr. & Mrs. Smith with this news but oh well, according to Astro Glorietta and Astro SM Makati, they will have a 3-day sale next weekend. The Viva rep I talked to said that selected Viva titles will be on sale for P299 including the 2 titles mentioned above. Sana naman kung makasama iyong F4 and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, may makonsensiya at may maabutan ako sa 2 iyan.

I got 4 titles during the last day sale.

1. The shining (S.K. col.)
2. Clockwork orange (S.K. col.)
3. Saving Private Ryan
4. Patton = I've asked the sales ladies if this are the 2 discs version i wanted to buy, they all told me "it's only 1 disc sir". Well, I bought it anyway, and to my surprise it's really the 2 discs version.

*The only title that i didn't have a chance to get is Amadeus director's cut. Out of stock na daw..
