Since we're all into audio, why not music tv shows?

When I was a kid I remember watching The Maestro and Uncle Bob, with Uncle Bob Stewart as host and Fred Elizalde as pianist. When Elizalde died, Joselito Pascual took his place and the show was renamed Uncle Bob and Friends.

Ryan Cayabyab had Ryan Ryan Musikahan. Mr. C accompanied on the piano mostly guest singers.

There was another show called Sunday Sweet Sunday that had Fides Cuguyan-Asensio and Jimmy Melendrez as hosts, and they would often sing snippets from movie or stage musicals. I remember this show fondly because as a kid, we would often go on vacation in Cavite, where we stayed at my Dad's family home. The house right across the street was where Jimmy Melendrez lived, and we would often hear him singing opera as he practiced; it was hard to avoid it, as his booming tenor voice reverberated around the area...I think that was the first time I heard opera, LOL

First 2 lang ba? I sort of remember his cameos even in the later seasons, but I could be mistaken.

Champoy on Channel 4 was a very different show from the version they had when they transferred to Channel 9. Mas intellectual yung sa 4, mas pang-masa nung lumipat sa 9.

The O.C.--nothing really replaced this great show for me... well, at least it was great until they killed off Marissa

Friday Night Lights--they set-up the final episode for a possible offshoot series.  Please make it happen.

The Practice--I am currently watching this again and I'm on Season 2. Still holds up to this day.

The Shield--the best cop show for me as it seemed grounded on reality
