Aha namromroblema ka din sa hd audio lumabas sa receiver ano? Try using an external player like Splash Pro Ex sa XBMC or any player that supports HD audio bitstreaming.

Yup gumagana sa ibang external player kaso gusto ko gamitin XBMC... Nakalagay sa XBMC website supported na daw HD audio pero di naman he he he

Best of both worlds is to use XBMC as your front end tapos use an external player nalang pag nagplay ng movies.  I can give you the script sa playercorefactory Kung gusto mo.

2 remotes at a time kaya nya pagsabayin ng walang kurap bro jayson  
kung lima lang kamay nya pwede sabay sabayin
seriously though, lahat yan seamless pag sya na gumamit.
pero yung kb trackpad/ball remotes nya, pinaliit lang.  mas gamay nya mga remote nya.  paborito ko dyan yung android

Bedroom HTPC

Yung CDRKing credit card remote di ko na ginagamit.  Replaced by the Vivid Programmable Remote (Yung may backlight).  Kelangan ko lang yung IR receiver nya. But when I bought the Measy remote nakapahinga na si Vivid.


HT HTPC

The MCE Vista Remote (yung nakabalot ng plastic) yan ang mainstay.  Kaso yung mouse function nya medyo mabagal.  Pag nakaXBMC no problem but when it comes to tweaking, desktop application management, etc., I use the Lenovo remote.  Mas mabilis.

Back up

Yung Android phone ko is a back up.  I have installed The Official XBMC Remote app and Gpad remote apps.  Yung Ipad last resort.  Not practical because of size.

which one is the best doc?

For both XBMC and Desktop

1. Measy remote.  It has the 4 axis directional keys for XBMC and has a very good responsive trackpad for desktop applications. Downside: non backlit keys.

2. Android phone with the XBMC and Gpad app is good for a dark room. Downside: you have to change apps when shifting from XBMC to Desktop.  It also drains your phone's battery faster as it uses wifi.

XBMC only

1. MCE Vista Remote. It has the NMT Remote feel.  It also has mouse function but a bit slow for desktop applications.

2. Vivid.  I programmed it to have the functions of the CDRKing PC remote.  Very good response for XBMC only.  Has backlight.

The Lenovo has a very fast trackball response with good left and right mouse button function.  The keys are a bit small and spaced close to each other and it becomes a chore typing.  I'd rather use the onscreen keyboard.

This is one good thing about HTPCs. You have a lot of options when it comes to remotes.  It won't be a problem if your remote gets busted or lost.

It's the other way around. Kapag nahawa ka, that means nagamot ka.

danrd: Oo nga. Bagay naman talaga sa akin yun malaking plasma eh. 2 taon din akong nagtiis na hindi magpalit. Bakit ko pa titiisin.
Doc mel: Tama. As i said, you deserve it.
