Saw one in Seiden (dvd section) and a display unit in Gamesoft last June nga lang. No price tag and did not bother to ask. Hirap iuwi yan.  :)

Never saw a single set in Akihabara  a few weeks back...bilis pala maubos. Anyways, just in case may nakita man ako nito...I wouldnt spend my hard-earned money for this...pinalampas ko nga KILL BILL boxsets eh...eto pa kaya...hehehehe!! Its sooooo expensive!

Hahahaha! Ngayon pa lang natatawa na ako sa reply ko...3 lang, yung mga binili ko on my last trip!! Been to Japan numerous times na for the last 8 years pero I wasnt interested with R2 releases then...until I saw some posts sa Some Limited edition thread then panay pa post ng pix & links ng isang member diyan  ::)...ayun Im planning to start collecting Japanese boxsets na ngayon instead of R1. And I thought this hobby wouldn't get more expensive than what Im spending now.... :-\ Kaya as early as now nag-iipon na ko for my DVD shopping early next year sa Japan para makabili man lang kahit 2 sets of any Limited edition titles.

Absolutely agree! For me all this while I've been collecting only R3, R4 & occassionally R1 but since joining this forum & seeing how beautiful & creative those LE & Boxsets posted by the members esp bro hemisphere1234, hmm...I couldn't resist the temptation & urge to own a few nice ones esp from Japan & Korea.  Geez...wish I had won the Lotto!  ;D

lol...

flyboy dude, after seeing dvd sets from korea, japan and germany.. i realized that Not all the World is America. i consider myself lucky to get some limited editions from different parts of the world (courtesy of online forums and some high flying friends).. medyo mahal nga lang at tutok dapat sa net all the time. oh well.. always thinking and still adhering to the concepts the harder to get, the better to have and "quality over quantity" .

i have "experienced" that japanese releases are superior maybe because of high quality standards that they want to maintain. the price is so much worth it if you ask me... kaya one month bago ka mag shopping spree sa Japan, sound off via sms para mapag ipunan ko..

salamat in advance..

Geez hemisphere1234...this is indeed another very tempting box-set.... I'm really amazed with th Japanese's creativity. They appear to be so innovative in "delicious" box-sets, hence making them highly collectible & sort after collection but of course with an exorbitant price to pay, i.e. the cost of an arm & limb as the ultimate sacrifice  ;D

Woa...all Garfield fans will love this! hemisphere1234, the cover of the Garfield 2-Discs Special Edition appears to be made of soft fabric or fluffy?  And the cat icon seems embossed or in 3D??  :)

Apocalypse Now Redux

The Apocalypse Now Redux DVD in a Bottle is one of Francis Coppola's most recent creations!

The 3 liter bottle contains our estate Director's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and is beautifully silk-screened with an image from the movie Apocalypse Now Redux. A pull-out drawer on the bottom of the bottle holds the DVD of the movie. A truly unique collectible!

from Germany also

Woa...now this is something trully unique! Who would thought there's a secret compartment housing the disc! How much is the bottle & the Garfield respectively? If not too expensive I don't mind adding them into my Wish List  ;) The Germans are catching up with the Japanese!  :P

Garfield SE is P2600 shipped. Apocalypse Now bottle, im not so sure cause it's not available anymore.. too bad..

There are so many German LEs like Italian Job Gift Set which outwits all of the global releases. problem with German LE's is the shipping cost which is more or less half of the item cost.. Geez..

i think the Mummy Legends box set does not only give us a cool & collectible box (am a sucker for box sets kasi), but all the three (3) movies are now being released with dts audio tracks unlike before that only The Mummy, Ultimate Ed. that has dts....also, there is an additional disc for The Mummy Returns or is it for The Scorpion King, dati kasi yung The Mummy, Ultimate Ed. lang ang 2-discs :)

but i haven't decided yet whether to order this, am not a very big fan of this series kasi & besides di ko pa nadi-dispose ang 3 titles ko, hehehehe ;D ;D ;D
