Bro. paul diba you are eyeing on Onkyo nr1007?   check out the new onkyo nr1008 it's 3D ready and it has audyssey dsx enabled for both heights and wides   and i think it's more cheaper than the nr 1007

is this confirmed brader xtian? AFAIK and based from avsforum, only one receiver has the distinction of running both the wide and height at the same time and thats the receiver that sir mark has denon 4810. I maybe wrong though and would have to review the thread in avsfroum latert tonight. If this is the case, then its a very good reason to get a 1008 but i think there are some drawbacks too from getting a 1008 versus the 1007.

Yes but unfortunately other than the HDMI & 3D compatibility, it's a downgrade from the NR1007 in term of feature & power too.   Looks like I will still eyeing for NR1007.

I think this is the case. User will able to select either Audyssey DSX wide or height but not both at the same time. Assuming the AVR can do both Audyssey DSX wide & height at the same time then essentially it's a 11.2-Channel AV Receiver. Furthermore, Onkyo's highest-end model has 9.2-channels only.

im not buying hehehehehe. just throught of sharing a read i stumbled upon, find it surprising though that pioneer 1019 even beat the Onkyo 5007 as the best receiver but according to cnet only

in case I upgrade, its just either Yammy AZ7 or Onkyo 5007.
