I already saw some titles from C-Interactive's brochure...Year of the Yao...A History of Violence...Oliver Twist...

Note that brochures list all those titles as VCD with nary a mention of DVD, if I'm not wrong...

With single disc releases of The Greta Garbo Collection, The Doris Day Collection and From Broadway to Hollywood Colelction, do you think that they will be releaseing some titles from Classic Musicals from the Dream Factory Colelction, sir Firewired?

Hmm... The Php 475 price tag for a Magnavision title makes me think this is most likely a budget compressed DVD5 single disc release, without all of the deleted scenes/features of the second disc.

definitely not. Munich LE-R1 is in digipak. you may preorder it from amazon now. should you wait, you might get a Narnia type release.

I don't think a comparison to Narnia would be too accurate, since Narnia is Disney/Viva, while Munich is Dreamworks/Magnavision.

I guess you can compare it to the R3 releases of King Kong SE or Jarhead SE - same disc contents as the R1, but with inferior packaging (but with good grammar/spelling

), probably in the Php 895 range, vs. the R1 Munich SE's USD 27.99 price - before shipping.

That's if we get a 2-Disc Edition of the Munich in the first place. I haven't seen any posts/flyers indicating such.

well.. i would recommend that people get the HK release (or thai perhaps). i got a small flashlight as a freebie for the slipcased initial run of war of the worlds CE/LE.

and yes.. it's the 2-disc edition.

Actually ricky, the differences in the printing/packaging of R1 and R3 King Kong have been discussed in MUCH detail on this thread: http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=48076.0

For me, the difference doesn't matter too much. But for others on this forum, the difference is apparently HUGE.
