parang masyado syang bright. gusto ko sana balance. warm kasi ang klipsch reference. bright ang synergy

You'll have to experiment with turning the EQ to Manual and then tweaking each value until the sound matches your preference.

check page 41-43 of your manual, it should give you an idea about cutoff frequency.

quick view online onkyo 608, then lower cutoff manually to 60hz or lower

first, you should have a TV that is capable of ARC...

Im not familiar with Vieralink, does this support ARC?

And yes, i believe you'll need HDMI 1.4 cables for that...

Vieralink allows you to control connected Vieralink devices using your TV remote. You can also synchronize power events in some cases, and pass data between devices (channel info, etc.). Aside from Panasonic, many Yamaha and Onkyo models also support this feature.

Do you have another Panasonic component that has Vieralink? HDMI 1.4 spec is not needed for the Vieralink to function.

Does your TV have audio return function? If you don't then you don't need an HDMI cable with 1.4A spec.

question about pure audio function of Onkyo TX-SR508. wala ba talaga output sa sub-woofer pag gamit yung function na 'to?

None, it has to be in "Stereo" mode for the subwoofer to be active.

Actually once you use the pure audio mode it will bypassed unnecessary circuits, even the system menu.
Your av amp will work as an integrated amplifier. :-*

Also another problem. I connected my speakers via bi-amping and ever since i used this connection, following the instruction and wiring diagram on the user manual, whenever i connect my ipod touch via 3.5mm jack my Onkyo AVR flickers then turns off with a blinking red light and also the speakers make a little "boom" sound. anyone also experience this problem?

Guys, good am.
Thanks  :)
