I dont have that only mp4 and mkv, sa mkv I think I noticed it mga twice lang, but relatively bright sounding (hollow and sibilant at times).

mga sir baka may solution kayo sa problem ng receiver ko.

model: HT-R391 (120v)
problem: having a hard time to power up after some hours of not using it.
 
example, last night ok sya, watched couple of movies, switched off after, in the morning ayaw na nya mag power up kung hindi ko iuunplug from outlet and reseat the plug. after hitting the power button on the unit it will take about 1-2mins before i hear the clicks inside the unit and it will turn on.

based on my wifes story on what caused the problem, tinatamaan daw ng nephew ko yung power source while she was watching, namamatay yung power. happened approx 4 times, she'll just turn it on again and resume everything then the last time it was hit by my nephew ayaw na daw mag on.

im still able to use it normally, added the powering up method that i have to do now everytime na ayaw nya mag on. is it time to bring it to the service center?

The 828 is whats bro Jammy is referring to. It has Audessey multi eq (not even xt). Brogger I still have the 818 on stock kaso black just in case you're interested. Or better yet go with the 3009. PM  ma na lang if you're interested.

^ he could use the subwoofer without modification, he just needs an RCA to 3.5mm cable like this:



reciever subwoofer pre-out -> rca to 3.5mm (right channel/red plug) -> 3.5mm center/sub cable -> center/sub analog input on the z906

the onkyo receiver will do the job of decoding the audio stream from the source. this is what you do:

-connect the z906 satellites to the a/v receiver's speaker outs (these speakers will now be powered by the onkyo instead of the logitech's amp)
-connect the z906 subwoofer as described by my previous post (you will still use the z906 control pod as a pre-amp for the subwoofer to control subwoofer volume, switch the subwoofer on/off, etc.; the decoder on the z906 will no longer be used for processing as you will be utilizing analog audio input from a/v receiver's subwoofer pre-out)


note:
check if the satellite speakers from your z906 has nominal impedance of 6ohms or higher. if it's lower than 6ohms, it might not be safe to use with entry level/lower midrange model a/v receivers

My fav reciever is sick at the moment... My 805 was not use for a month then tried two channel audio and hook up dynes...after a week my daughter watch toy story for the 50th time ata haha...on the middle of the movie nawalan ng sounds...opened foobar and same problem occured....ayaw magdecode naka dolby nakalagay kahit 2ch ...wala pa din sounds...test tone wAla ...perform reset and tried to run audyssey and aud will not proceed...test tone wala pa din...hdmi passthrough works..video no problems but no sound still... All 3 dsp puro question mark lang hehehe....try ko magupdate ng dsp kapag ayaw need ipagamot sa toyama ...anyone exp this? Possible hdmi board failure ...sana mayos pa...want this badly hehe
