After months of speculation about its fate,
Everwood was not picked up by The CW. Unbelieveable, especially since
7th Heaven did a farewell episode already, and
One Tree Hill's ratings were just as bad as
Everwood's, if not lower?
This series was one I said "Looks stupid" to when I first heard about it, but I was intrigued when the first season was suddenly recommended to me by Amazon based on my previous DVD purchases. When it went on sale, I purchased it, and was hooked. I thought it would be another
Dawson's Creek clone, when it actually played more like
Northern Exposure Lite - city doctor moves to provincial town with quirky residents.
I then began following the third and fourth seasons, and am now sadly awaiting next week's two-hour series finale. I hope they anticipated their cancellation and resolved their major plot points, instead of their usual "season cliffhanger."
If anyone can point me in the right direction to find Season Two (broadcast network, cable channel, foreign DVD, torrent, file share... anything!), I'll be very grateful.
