SONY Sparkling TVs
« on: Aug 06, 2006 at 03:24 PM »
Dude, I'm planning to buy the new SONY Sparkling TV 25" lang.

Is it really a better unit than it's predecessors???

Liked the RGB connectors, at ok lang kung walang PIP.

Mas habol ko ang Video quality since my Pioneer speakers naman ako.

I believe it's still Wega, with the new diamond cut design.

So the only differences are design and brightness?

I believe so, kaya wala masyadong difference sa lumang 25" last year.

Diba ang ganitong design ay parang old style na. Kasi yung jvc ko na 7yrs ago na sa akin ay pareho sila ng design eh.

i bought a tv like that last holiday season but it's colored gray (darker version) at gateway.

what i'm missing compared to my JVC is the blue black background but quality wise it's slightly clearer.

subwoofer feature, equalizer, component in, almost the same features though sony has a

wide screen option and an FM radio .  ;D

When I was canvassing for a new TV last December, I passed on the Sony CRTs. I was disappointed they did not have S-video. I did not want to spend for component video and besides component video just adds to the cable cluter behind the unit.

i just bought a sony 29" tv (KV-SZ29N60) from abenson. bought also a samsung ref 18 cu ft. they gave me a special 18 month 0%. :)

the pq is ok. not great. i think the philips is better. one thing that bothers me is that noise they make when you turn them on.. kakagulat :D

there is a version of this unit with FM radio. pero kung side by side sila ng walang FM,
parang mas malinaw ang walang FM.

... just found out that the one with no FM radio have a signal booster.

chocovim, we have the same model. does your tv have a 1 sec delay when you switch channel? and does it make a degauss sound when you turn it on for the first time?
