From TheDigitalBits.com:

Quote
1/27/03

According to TV Guide, the first season of Alias will be released on DVD on September 2nd. Executive producer J.J. Abrams told the publication a little bit about his plans for the DVD in a recent interview: "There are going to be a lot of great special features. When I filmed the pilot, a good friend of mine shot like eight or nine hours of behind-the-scenes footage and did interviews with most of the cast. So, in addition to a number of other really cool features, we're going to edit together a behind-the-scenes piece on the making of the pilot."

Stay tuned...

Alias - The Complete First Season     $52.49  (25%),  Sep 02.

Alias - The Complete Second Season     $52.49  (25%),  Dec 02.

Alias - The Complete Third Season     $48.99  (30%),  Sep 07.

Sayang nga eh. Had abs have stereo broadcast, puwedeng isakay sa Second Audio Program (SAP) yung original soundtrack para those who have stereo tvs can shift to the secondary channel.

Relatively successful naman yung pinoy dubbing kasi kahit maliit na bata, naintindihan yung kuwento.

For my part, I'll just wait for the DVD to enjoy the series.

They are selling an Alias guidebook in National for about P500 that includes a DVD.

Any of you bought this? Is the DVD worth the price of the book (i.e. featurettes, etc.)

DVD of the show? Or mainly featurettes? Where? Finally, I could watch this show without the horrible dubbing.

Sorry SPaCeMaN SPiFF - when I first heard about this book months ago, I searched all the National Bookstores and Power Books branches in Manila that I know of but came up empty - out of stock and they're not sure if they're going to order it again :(

When I went to the US last March, I immediately dragged my friend to a Barnes & Noble branch and made this book my first purchase - $18 (including tax)  ;D

According to Amazon.com the aspect ratio is Full Screen (Standard) - 1.33:1 (SDTV) and not the anamorphic widescreen of HDTV

talaga? I read that it was shot in widescreen format, so why would they want to put it back to full screen...
