I saw an on going dvd sale at Robinson's galleria specifically at the food court area (magnavision and viva) yesterday.

I think it was Odyssey that initiated it.

The original price of Sweeney Todd (2-Disc Special Edition w/ booklet) is Php 799, not Php 750. Still, I'm glad you're able to get it at a cheap price.

got Hairspray 2 disc from C-interactive at 399 from the Astro MOA sale. originally priced at 695 then lowered to 550 and now 399. also saw some copies from odyssey and SM department store also at the same price. was hoping to find the 2 copies of Hellboy animated on the sale but sadly out of stock sa Astro and not included in the sale at Odyssey..

was there as soon as astro opened yesterday with the wife, when we got there, they were just setting up and pricing the dvds. the sale was not as good as some previous sales at astro festival and astro sm makati but there were still some good DVD and even CD buys.

why did i say that? there were some titles that were priced P125 at festival and sm makati but were P175 at the podium sale.

but thats just me...

only got myself,

i am legend 2 disc SE (P350) and led zepellin the song remains the same 2 disc SE DTS (199) and some audio CDs as well (ranging from P50-150)...

i hope i can still go back, there were still a lot of titles that i wanted top buy...

but im still happy....

by the way, some noteable titles i saw were:

- hellboy animated with comic book P299
- national treasure 2 LE P299
- ocean's boxset (11, 12 and 13) P350

( i just cant remember...

)
- sweeney todd 2 disc with comic book P399
- xmen boxset P450
- fantastic four boxset P450
- marvel heroes boxset P450

there were also a lot that were priced the same as previous sales like...

- shawshank redemption 2 disc P199
- i am legend 2 disc SE
- etc...

most of the viva titles were at P199-P299, while audio CDs range from P50-P300 (SACD)...

Passed by SM Megamall, and saw Viva, Magnavision and Warner sale (malapit sa hilera ng mr donut and red ribbon.)

Just browsed.

My observation, some of the sale dvd's have an increased (particulary transformers 2 disc edition, they were selling it for 550)

Ongoing Astrovision Sale at Mega Mall up to October 19. They are occupying the area at the Ground Floor near the Mega A entrance, previously occupied by Hang Ten.

Warner Movies as low as P125. Magna has the 2 for P399. Boxsets also on sale.

Nothing great really. I just got A Very Long Engagement 2 disc for P125.

May sale rin sa Robinson Place Manila. Midnight tonight.

Astro: Smaller discount when compared to Trinoma sales... Magnavision DVD less 100 for 299, 375 titles. Less 50 for 199 titles. Few boxset on sale and generally more less discount (ie Battlestar Galatica S2 for 750 vs 499 at Trinoma before, S3 at regular price).

Warner sale is much better. with many boxsets like all Everybody loves Raymond sets discounted to 699@. Same with Two and Half Men S1,2, &3 at 699@.

Viva titles: Konti lang discount. From their previous sale price of 299, titles are going for 450. So 100 lang off regular price.

The Universal Records CD at 150 or so, meron din...

Odyssey: Viva giftset at Buy one take one, probably pay the more expensive one (titles like HSM, X-men, Fantastic 4, Die Hard Quadrilogy, Princess Diaries 1&2, Ice Age 1&2 boxsets available). Magnavision discount, same as Astro.

was at glorietta earlier and there was a dvd sale at the activity area.. Magna, viva, warner and c-interactive.. i don't know kung matagal na ba yun dun but it's a pretty good sale.. magna tv series are down like the 1st 3 seasons of house, heroes s1, battlestar galactica..
