Very unfortunate. You can actually find titles there that have been sold out in other more populated branches. And that may be the same reason why they shut down.

There's an ongoing sale at Astroplus Podium, today until Sunday.

First, my observations : Unlike before na dinudumog ng tao ang sale sa Astroplus Podium, ngayon there were practically a few people buying. Is it because Astro moved to a new place at the third floor? Or is it because of the "changing times"? Nakakagulat lang. At nakakalungkot makita.

Also, I was told na na pull out na pala ang Warner dvds. That is sad news. Any updates on this, guys?

Second, here are a few hauls got. Medyo nagtimpi na rin ako. Pero happy na ako sa mga new loots ko:

Grey's Anatomy Season 3
Two Box Sets Parts 1 & 2

The others are not that enticing. Viva is having a buy one take one @ P450. Interactive is selling for as low as P125. Magna is also having a Buy One Take One promo.

Imo its a mixed of tough times, other "sources" available namely nmt's and you know what, and rather than buying new releases at a whopping 500 pesos and above, some might prefer the high definition version instead, thru amazon or marketplace. However tv series are a diff story imo, its really worth the buy sa dvd. Either that or sales are getting old na, they need to spice things up like 75 pesos dvds

, that will haul in the crowd for sure.

Got Prison Break Season 1-2 from Music One Glorietta at P750 each. Not bad, since their supposed "SRP" was P3,000 each!

Also just got Battlestar Galactica Season 2.5 from Music One Greenbelt for P600.

Astro & Odyssey SM Mall of Asia are participating in the mall's BIG BIG SALE from April 3-6. Of the two, Astro seems to have the better deals.

i went this afternoon too bad only gilmore girls box set were left... i badly want supernatural s3 and smallville dvds... sayang 400 each pa nman.. :'(
