sir marsman, you won't go wrong with the New Titan & cc390 combo. used to own cc370 in my setup and it worked fine with St60. Presently, have titan v2 which perfectly matched with Fisher X-100-A tube amp.

(still in disarray,figuring-out where to put the amp.need extra headroom due to heat from the tubes and long audio cables to connect Marantz CD player ...

i have a question guys...

currently I'm using monitor 7 v6 and cc190 for center for quite some time now. I'm wondering if I should upgrade the center to cc290 kasi ito yng recommended sa website (pero locally sa shops nirerecommend nila yng cc190 for monitor 7 - same woofer driver and relative size I guess ang reason pero syempre different ang power ratings).

can you post the differences of both models.

there's no harm to go for the higher model of same series. like in my case got ref 60 v3 which is match to cc470 v3 but decided to get cc570 v3 of almost same price w/ cc470. so, if you have extra budget get the higher model.

just my 2 cents.

bro kung hindi issue ang space go for CC290. malaki ang difference in dimension, sobrang nalalakihan nga ako sa CC290 pero yun ang binili ko hehe feeling ko nga floorstander yun na inihiga e

sabi din sa shop na pinagbilhan ko, yung CC290 pang Monitor 9 but it doesn't mean it won't do well with Monitor 7. Actually mas ok nga yun kesa CC190 imho. hope this helps

Sir riven, i have cc290 v6. Panalo ito compared to cc190. Before i bought it eh binalik balikan ko ito sa audio shop just to make sure na ito talaga ang gusto ko. Dati kc bumili ako ng smaller center Klipsch RC25 kaso medyo nakulangan ako kaya bumili ako ng much bigger RC35

You're right Sir Ronin. Kahit i-partner ko ang cc290 sa mini monitor & titan monitor both v6 ay maganda pa rin ang blending. Para sakin good combi rin itong cc290 i-partner sa Klipsch like my RF15 FS

good thing it worked for you. marami kasi ako nababasa na at least yung LCR same brand AND series para sonically matched. i haven't actually tried using different brand so I have no chance to mix and match hehe

Monitor 9 (or the series itself) are quite easy to drive. I've heard it driven by Rotel and I like the combo very much (you can also ask Mr. H naka Rotel avr and Paradigm Monitor 11 sya). But I've gotten the smaller Monitor 7 kasi bedroom setup ako dati and felt Monitor 7 will suffice. Also, mas maganda ang bass ng 9 kesa 7. I suppose meron nyan dyan sa atin kasi previous series yan ng Monitor lineup. SnS ata ang distributor ng Paradigm, paki correct lang mga gurus.

My uncle currently hook up this monitor 9v6 to his Yamaha rx-a3010 receiver and bass was shaking to their sala pero parang may kulang sa overall SQ nya, and i think possible na hindi pa sya total na burn in test o baka sa set up compatibility lang. Otherwise, thanks for the info brader ron1n.

Nope brader, I already hook it up sa sansui pero hindi sila compatible regarding to SQ... Mag auditon ako kung merun na dito locally para alam ko kung ano babagay na int amps...

Mga sir, I am seeing a lot of positive review on studio 10 v5 and I wish to audition sana. San po ba pwede? I called up SnS and they told me na by order lang and they don't have a demo unit. 40K po pala cash price nito, mahal pala.

Baka may friendly fellow enthusiast na may studio 10, parinig naman po.

anyway, based sa reviews, mas maapreciate mo sya sa 2-ch stereo setup. May nabasa ako dito sa forum (nakalimutan ko na kung sinong nagsabi, pero sigurado akong guru/legend yun), sinabi nya what is good for stereo will be good for HT too but not the other way around
