I'm curious: What more were you guys expecting?
The sale itself is okay... first timers will be delighted...savings galore.
But the problem is that Astro Podium billed it as the' GrandEST sale ever', and that it will top the MOA sale. During the MOA sale, Warner lowered the prices of it's 2-discs classics, Disney sold for 199, and many titles got discounted for the first time notably the Ten Commandments 50th Anniversary and Chronicles of Narnia. Not to mention the free chance to win a LCD display. So those discount at this sale is no longer big news to Sale enthusiast like many of us here.
When they say it will be the GrandEST sale, you are expecting something above what was offered at the MOA sale. That's what cause the slight disappointment from many of us here.
That said, and having personally been to the Astro Podium sale, I could say it was still a blast. And if it's your first sale, you will find plenty to like.

As of 1pm kanina, don't know if they have been sold na... newer titles like Benchwarmers and Just Like Heaven parang limited copies lang...
Andaming Chronicles of Narnia, Sound of Music, and Walk The line, parang nag-order ng bago ang Viva. I don't think stocks of those will run out during this sale...together with pink boxed Memoirs of Geisha (475)...
Good sale. For me, it was worth the visit (then again, I didn't go to the MOA sale), especially for those new to the DVD collecting hobby. Astro Podium still have the widest range of titles for any offline store. But with PinoyDVD.biz, the selection (at least for Warner) is even wider...
