SPECS
« on: Oct 06, 2006 at 12:06 PM »

salamat

What are the settings of your AVR? Your Int Amp?

Bass functions on both amps may not be on the same level?

pareho lang sir, flat settings sa integrated amp, tone out naman sa avr.

tsaka sir kahit itodo ko naman yung bass settings ng AVR ko hindi naman ganun kalakas yung nadadagdag na base...

thanks

Try pure direct (or equivalent) on the receiver.

Depending on the receiver, kung stereo, gumagana pa rin yung crossover settings e.

Baka naka-default yung speaker settings ng AVR to SMALL.

thanks

Naka-off na rin ba yung tone controls?

Edit:

I just read the manual. Try setting the sub to NONE, fronts to LARGE and surround mode to "Surround Off".

Only if you turn OFF the subwoofer from the AVR settings.

basta hindi maganda ang bass production ng avr ko sa stereo listening (without sub)...

pano ba malalaman sa pagbasa pa lang ng specs kung makakapag produce ng magandang base yung isang amp?

kase yung AVR ko 50Watts per channel daw siya pg stereo mode, tapos yung luma ko int. amp  25Wx2 (kung hindi ako nagkakamali) lang ata per channel (sansui A-5).

Curious, when you say patay yung sub does it mean 'NONE' sya sa settings or naka-off lang talaga?

NONE lang po. may difference po ba kapag off ang sub and naka-none lang siya sa settings ng AVR?

yes, kapag NONE means AVR disables its bass management circuit so nothing goes to your sub.

otherwise, kahit naka OFF yung sub mo, the AVR is still be sending low frequencies out of its Sub-out terminal.
