these 1080p models have 3 sizes available. No price on sony.com.ph but ive managed to get the prices from a source.

Saw the 40 inch at festival mall Sony shop and asthetics look so sexy. I have been waiting to see it for a long while as the equivalent in the states has been getting great reviews. The main reason I wanted to see it was to compare it to the Current V series. The X series in the states is 1080p and use the Bravia engine PRO. Unfortunately even though the local version is 1080 P it uses the Bravia engine EX.

Bravia engine PRO (which is in the Sony SXRD rear projection in the sony shop) boasts of incredible upscaling features that .....even a 480i SD resolution when combined with the Sony picture enhancement plus signal creation technology (DRCmfv2.5) will be recreated to in a "full HD 1080p" . Sounds great.

BUT THIS ENGINE PRO IS NOT IN THE X SERIES BEING OFFERED LOCALLY.

For this reason I am now leaning towarsds the 50 inch KS-50R200A. If only it was not so expensive!!!!!
