Acer XD 1150
« on: Nov 24, 2006 at 08:12 AM »
I think this is the entry level model that will compete the price of the Benq W100.

Specs:
1800 lumens
Res:800x600
Contrast:2200:1
aspect ratio: 16:9

There hasn't yet been any review on the performance of this unit. But at its price of 39.9k its good to audition this side by side with the W100.  ;D

I read somewhere that Acer is the former name of BenQ! Correct me if i'm wrong. But if it's true then XD 1150 and W100 is manufactured by the same company.

My boss got this entry level PJ a the price indicated above.  Offhand, I like the W100 better ;D since I have one. I'll give some reviews after we test it.  He's using it with composite and PQ is awful ;D ;D.  No component connections.  Will look for component to VGA cable then post reviews.
