yup. improved sound. better detail. but the price went up.

the hk 160 now has dolby true hd and dts hd and is now a 7.1 receiver compared to the hk 155. srp is 29,990.

the hk 260 srp is 46,500.

hi guys,
i am new here in hk forum, is there anybody who own hk avr 85.can u pls share ur experience or review regarding on this avr.b'coz my wife r working in singapore and she bought this hk just for 20 sgd

together with a pair a pioneer bookshelf speaker.(don't know the model)my wife said the hk is still working and in good condition and the reason to sell is going abroad ung couple (Chinese Singaporean).and stuff will be arrive this coming april.thnks in advance for any comments or review rerding this model.

I have the ff set up: HK AVR 255 + JBL SCS 260.5

How should I set up the crossover freq manualy?.. I already measured the distances my only problem is using the correct cross over freq and the proper level (db) of each speaker/channel... Please help... Thanks...

I measured the speaker distance from my listening position... Units in ft.

FR=7
FL=7
C=7
SR=3
SL=3
Sub=7

Please I need some help... Thanks...

I have upgraded mine to version 0.97.2.2 but I donwgraded it back to version 0.96.1.1 because of intermittent pause when using DTS Neo:6 settings... R u also experiencing the same situation?.. Please share...

Thanks to Boss Mike (avshop) for giving a good deal to my biyenan on his purchase of the HK980 integrated stereo amp last Sunday at his shop in MarQuee Mall in Pampanga.

80wpc x 2, with built in MM phono stage pa. . . 2 speaker outs so pwede bi-wire na separate connections. . .

Guys, try out the HK980. Sounds good with the B&W 683. . .

Btw ser, could you PM me the price for the 980's big brother, the HK990? Very interesting design. . . I might be tempted to leave my tubes behind for this 200wpc monster. . . with built in DACs to boot!
