Need opinion badly regarding HK 155 and 134? which is better?
I'm choosing from the 2 entry models since my budget is tight..
12.k=134 and 13k for 155.(both 2nd hand) ok na po ba sya?

Betwen the hk 134 and 155, go for the hk 155.

We can offer you the new Hk 156 for 19.5k.

was at megamall earlier and there's a new HK/JBL shop sa may cyberzone called Acoustical Space. they offered me the HK3490 for 25k. it's a nice shop look for marvin if you wanna check them out, very friendly sila dun

Ang ganda rin nung HK 660 kaya lang 140k

Nice to hear that. Im hk owner too. Not to turn you off guys but they do secret deal, personal experience sa Smne. Btw hk 3490 is cheaper sa av shop, eto ba yung stereo? Hope we're talking the same unit.

I think HK 990 po yung stereo sir.

Sorry the 3490 is a receiver amp (2 channel) & I think 990 is integrated amp.

Visited the JBL-HK Concept Store sa Cyberzone North EDSA. Friendly rin ang staff and masipag magbenta. Was only planning to browse and the staff persuaded me to listen to their demo ng JBL Northridge E series speakers connected to a Harman Kardon AVR. Movie being played was "How to Train Your Dragon". Ok ang SQ except parang kulang sa "Kick" ang tunog. Maybe it just needs tweaking sa settings. I know maganda ang SQ ng HK. Though the staff told me ang Northridge series is recommended for movies and not for music daw.

HK is best with EQ set to off and manually calibrated. I think it's time for HK to consider 3rd party EQ for their AVRs.

noob question! yung mga entry level avr po ba like HK156 need calibration everytime you watch HD BLURAY MOVIE through hdmi?
bagay po kaya sa mga first time avr owner like me itong hk156?or maghanap nalang ako ng ibang brand

Almost all my past AVR has Automatic calibration, YPAO and EZSet eq.. but i never tried to use it.. Masaya na ako sa Manual Calibration like making sure all speakers has same level. Then konting adjustment here and there.. Di rin ako guru... Kanya kanyang dinig lang yan.. basta importante abot nang budget and maganda sa pandinig mo...
