no prices yet for the the hk 255. the distributor still planning to bring in the x55 series maybe around mid next year. for sure mas mahal yan. i would expect prices to be around 35k-36k for the hk 255. the 254 and 255 are the same lang. the 254 is the us version.

guys i recently hooked up my hk 140 and im having problems with the volume

i have set my fronts and center to large and small for my sorrounds.... increased my center to +5 and all other speakers to +2 and i still have to crank the volume all the way to -16 before the audio dialgues to becomes understandable.. the max volume btw is +7

can you share your audio settings maybe i just need to tweak something

that would be normal since the hk 140 is only 40 watts. i had a denon 1508 that i had to play at -12 for my preferred listening level. what are your speakers? it would also depend on the sensitivity of your speakers. at any rate, as long as there is no clipping or distortion ok pa yan. once there is distortion that means hindi na kaya ng amp.

only set your speakers to large if you're speakers have the range to carry the low frequencies. if not, better stick to small setting. if you need the dialogue to be louder, you can try increasing the levels of the center and fronts. i think it you can adjust the levels all the way to 10.

I have a problem with my AVR 5500, it's not saving the settings anymore, it will go back to factory settings when turn off and turn on again. do you guys have any idea what the problem and where can i get it fixed?
