This is interesting...

A member found out that his PS3 and receiver (NAD 175) play all seven channels of Shoot 'Em Up. The 7.1 issue could lie with the receivers not the PS3! Interesting theory.....

is it worth buying the ps3 bluetooth remote control? does anyone of u guy have this piece of accesory? is it more convenient using it than the sixaxis controller? does anyone know how much it cost?

for me its not worth it, since the controller can do the job, i think its around 800

where can i get it for 800? do u prefer a 2nd sixaxis or a dual shock3 rather than that bluetooth remote?
have u tried logging in to the taiwan site playstation store? I want to download some full hd music videos if there's any. i'm already finished w/ those free downloads on the us and hk sites.

dude 14k nga sa hk kht sa singapore ang ps3 but u still cant get the ps3 here for that price cheapeast brand new i knw cost 18k.

Finally, I was successful in enabling full surround for my PS3. I don't know what I pressed but when it came on, I didn't know that my receiver's volume was turned way up. Scared the hell out of my son and wife when the THX screen on Phantom Menace started.

Just uploaded the latest firmware 2.3 to the PSiii; switched the Audio Settings from Bitstream to PCM uncompressed and next thing you know, was blown away by the scintillating audio of Planet of the Apes BD. Freakin' awesome! Seein' the words DTS-HD when you press Display (Info) is just so 'heavenly.'

Hi guys. Got my ps3 player last saturday evening here in one of the stores in SM Davao. 17,500 40gig black. Kinuha ko na kasi sa canvas ko, the prices in other stores range from 19,980 - 23,000. I was also thinking that with the continuing depreciation of the peso (42=1 na ngayon), baka di na bumaba sa 15,000 yung price.

Anyway, I played some DVD's in it (Peter Pan and Black Hawk Down) and it turned out better that my regular DVD players. Then I watched Rescue Down and Full Metal Jacket in BD, ang masasabi ko lang is "WOW!" Even my wife and kids enjoyed the superb quality of the PQ and audio.

Sana bumaba pa ang prices ng BD discs para mas ma enjoy ko ang panonood. Thanks Pinoy DVD for all the advice that I got.

The PS3™ system does not support playback of DTS-ES and DTS 96/24 for DVD-Video or DTS-ES Matrix for Blu-ray Discs

Guess I will still have to use my old universal DVD player for DTS-ES movies.

sir kobebryant wats exactly. are the video files playable by the ps3? i downloaded the mp4 file of INTO THE BLUE but its not recognized by the ps3. Can u txt me wta files so i wont waste tym downloading unreadable files

Sorry I don't agree with this. Im not a mod, and not speaking for all but if kobebryant is selling his downloaded copies or giving it away for free it should be done thru private messaging. There is a thread naman of hi def adopters, a full list of the people who have ps3/bluray. He can PM them nalang imo.

Anyway I'm not a mod and this is just my opinion. Some may not agree with this but I think we should not discuss this openly or this forum will be called piratadibidi.com
