I have a Receiver problem, It cannot decode the DTS signal of the DVD na. Whether it has Dolby or DTS audio, ang lumilitaw sa receiver display ko ay PL II pa rin. Help...thanks.

What dvd player and receiver are you using? Have you tried tinkering with the set-up of your dvd player? How is your dvd player connected to your receiver?

player = old DV-525 pioneer
receiver = denon

I never changed the setup of my player kaya nagulat ako na di na binabasa ang DTS signal.

Connection: Digital Out (player) <---------> Video In (receiver)

Check first the Audio1 set-up of your player. Make sure DTS is set to ON.  BTW, what specific model is your denon receiver?

Yah, in my player the DTS is set to ON.   My receiver is a Denon AVR-1802. 


The digital interconnect coming from my player's Digital Out is connected to the DVD/VDP in the receiver's Video In.

Uhm...that was always my setup when it was still working. Anyway, i'll try another player. Pucha wag naman sana receiver ang sira hehehe. Luma na kasi talaga player ko.

hindi yan...baka may naklimutan lang tayo. kung minsan kahit sobrang kabisado na natin yung system may nakakaligtaan pa rin tayo...hehehe

In your DVD player, set the digital out format to RAW.

Try changing the connection:

DIGITAL COAX OUT (PLAYER) => COAX IN (RECEIVER)
