Nice looking speakers.  Can you PM me a quote on those LS speakers Sanjay? Hope to hear them at the show.

Sir, I recently purchased an onkyo 608. I'm pairing it with Klipsch F3 package. Ano sir ang duty ng system mo? 5.1 ba, 2.1 or stereo set-up ang gusto mo; more of movies or more of audio listening ba? IMHO, dito po magdedepende ang sagot sa tanong mo.

Why don't you consider a full Polk Audio LSI set up:
1) LSi25 or LSi15 floorstanding
2) LSiC center
3) LSi9 or LSi7 bookshelf

This is an excellent set. :) Very capable speakers for the price, as long as you can power them well. :)

Depende sir sa location mo. Kung QC, si AVshop meron.

Oo nga. this set i'd love to hear with a powerful AV/R.

I've been recommended the Onkyo NR1007 actually and I'm considering it.  Anyway, di ba mas ok yung LSFX na dipoles for rear surrounds compared to the bookshelves?

I'd prefer my surrounds configured in bipole. I know the LSFX is switchable naman between bipole and dipole.

Which is a better choice,  RTi A7 or 684?
Two channel setup but will be use as well when watching movies.

For your 20k budget, I suggest mag wharfedale ka for your 5.1 set up or better yet, mag-A-Audio ka, Just look for Sir Anthony's Thread sa marketplace.

For your use, I'd favor the A7.

An A7 pair can deliver decent scale and depth, which would be very useful in a subwooferless setup (especially for movies).

I already have a sub to compensate for the lows.
Would an A7 still be the right choice?

The A7 is very flexible, and it's hard to go wrong with it. However, for about the same money, I personally prefer the LSi9 (granted that you have the right amp for the job).

Sir, how about TSi 500  against B&W 684?
Prepare ko kasi FS.
Hindi ba mahirap i-drive ang TSi 500?

Madali i-drive ang TSi500, pero hindi ata siya same class as the 684. You may want to check out the RTi A5 instead, if you want to spend a little less.

Hello fellow enthusiasts!

I'm not sure if this is the right category for this, sorry (so kindly move it to the appropriate category just in case).

I'm on a hunt for a good pair of bookshelf speakers to match an Onkyo Integrated Amp A-9755. I chose this amp due to the good price - about 27k brand new, its made in Japan, has 150wpc @ 8ohms, and 200w @ 4ohms if the salesman's info was correct. However, It has no digital inputs (S/PDIF). It also has an MM Phono input eliminating the need for a phono pre-amp/stage.

I auditioned the A-9755 with a pair of sand filled QAcoustics 1030i's with Nora Jones and Katie Melua CDs using an Onkyo DX-7355 (@ about 8k). The sound was very good!

I'm looking at pairing the A-9755 with Polk Audio LSi9s, though I haven't heard them paired before. Can you guys recommend book shelf speakers for this amp? Or if anyone here have the A-9755 already, hows the performance? My listening area would be an entire living room about 20sqm.

Thanks thanks!

I've heard it with a powerful HK integrated amp at moderate levels. kaya naman niya sir. Kay Marc aka AVshop ko nadinig. Best that you bring your amp sa demo room niya cuz i think may stock siya. PM him muna in advance.
