which of these would you recommend for starter speakers? (2.0/ 2.1 setup muna)

subwoofer - pilyo sub  ;)

front channels:

- Daiichi EUROS-6BL Floorstanders - 6.5k/pair
- Infinity P153 - 9990/pair
- Polk TSi 100 - 9990/pair

Good evening mga sirs! Can U recommend a good speaker for my Onkyo PR-SC5509 and PA-MC5501...  ;D  :) thanks!!!

What's your preference in sound quality?

Very nice pre-pro sir! 8) Budget? How big is the room?

Bagay sa iyo ang prepro kasi naka power amp ka na.  :D 2v preout ka na kapag naka-prepro ka.  ;)

15ft x 18ft x 9ft, 100k+ budget sir...

I would suggest floorstanders if you are also into stereo listening. If not, a set of very good BS all the way.

Ano pala ang preference mo sa sound quality? Madetalye? Laid back sounding? Warm? Forward? Etc.

WOWowOWow :o :o :o

For full Home Theater, try to audition the Polk Audio Rti A9 + A6 center +  FXi A6. Kasyang kasya 100K+ na budget mo. Magandang match ito for your full Onkyo pre/pro and power amp.

You could also consider B&W CM series. I heard this before with the Onkyo 5009 avr and they're heavenly ;)

Pwede ding JBL LS series which I think is one of the better all around speakers out there :)
(love your own, hehehe)

If that's the case, then simply make your rounds, try to bring your prepro & receiver (if possible), sa ating mga suking shops like AVShop Kalayaan, AudioWorld Banaue, Sound and Vision Banaue, Sights and Sounds & AVDI Edsa Shang., or sa Mandaluyong sa Demo room ng Polk. See what brand that would suit your taste or preference. IMHO, it's important, before you make your purchase, that you establish first kung ano ang preference mo sa sound. Otherwise, you'll end up selling and buying new gears again. With your budget, i will be very careful in my purchase by making sure na gusto ko talaga yun sonic signature ng speakers na binibili ko.

You can also visit some very generous PDvd members here, who are more than willing to let you audition their system para malaman mo din what combination might suit your preference.

Sir, mahihirapan ata tayo makakita ng 5 pcs ng speakers to fit your P5-7t budget.

The only bookshelf speakers i can think of that would fit your budget are the first production run of A-Audio's genesis speakers that are pre-owned.

Or sa mga surplus stores sir. May mga bookshelf speakers sila around P3k pair. 2 pairs would cost you P6k na.

or, DIY route ka na. Kung makakakita ka ng set of tweeters and woofers w/ xover or full range speakers for P800-P1,000. Yun sukli, pambili ng plywood.

I'm not sure kung powerful ang amp mo to drive BS speakers at all. I think pwede naman pero hindi ganun kalakas. browse ka lang sa marketplace. Listen to the speakers kung type mo yun tunog niya. I'm pretty sure in a few months, kapag napalitan mo na ang lahat ng speakers mo, AVR na ang kasunod.

Happy hunting!
