Yup 2 release dates na ang napahiya Magna...13th & 20th!

I hope the rush of owning the R3 DVD won't lose it's luster. The delays might make others go for the R1 specially when Amazon has priced it already at $15.99. With shipping it would come out just a little higher lang naman than the R3 version.

Yah, I went to my Astro branch sa SM Clark. Wala pa daw. Sinabi ko yung papalit palit na release date pero it seems hindi din sila aware...

Binura ko na din yung text ng magnavision sa akin, kya di ko din ma itext....

I actually sent a text message last night and this morning to confirm kung tuloy yung release pero walang sagot.. When I went to Astro, di rin nila alam kung kailan.. I called that number but nobody was picking up..

For the moment, I'd just give them some more time... hopefully, custom will not give Magnavision too much trouble, lest they release all their future DVD as local DVD9s....

According to the DVD Times review of the R3, there seems to be a glitch on the sound at around the 137min part of the movie.. About half a second only though..

But it is a very good sounding film, not only with the default DD5.1 track but particularly the DTS track that offers a little more top end and a lot more at the bottom. Being such a good release, it's then odd to have one obvious problem with the transfer, one that occurs for half-a-second or so at 137m when the sound drops out completely. Having listened to this a few times on a couple of machines, it is repeatable and so is clearly a problem with the disc rather than, for example, my sitting on the Mute button on the remote control. But even at that, it doesn't last for very long and though it's annoying, the half-a-second that it lasts for doesn't necessarily ruin the other 144m of the film.

The sound glitch, does it refer to the DD5.1 track or the DTS track, or both?

Gosh, even a half-a-second sound drop would bother me.

Available na itong R3 sa Singapore since last week. Lowest price is 26.90sgd (800pesos) and comes in a thin white dvd casing. I didnt hear any problem with the DTS audio.

Got the single disc...

Sobrang badtrip yung ads + trailers... Although nagawan ko ng paraan to be bypassed sa DVD player ko.... and syempre sa madayang XBox media center...

PQ is ok.... may DTS nga... I also noticed the 137th min glitch (on DTS - haven't tried on DD)... Iniisip ko transition lang ng layers (from 1st to 2nd layer) - pero since even other releases has it pala as mentioned above, glitch nga talaga sa encoding yun ng master copies....

The layer transition skipping usually occurs halfway through the film. Most of the time, about 1 hour though the film. This 137th minute sound skipping is definitely not due to layer transition.

Can anyone confirm if the 2-disc edition also has this sound glitch (DD5.1/DTS/both)?

Just got my copy today... and what can I say... ang ganda ng release na to, considering it has a dts track which the R1 has not. When I took my copy sa Astroplus sa SM Clark, sabi nila yesterday may isa daw na nagagalit na nag pareserve kasi pero di pa nila pwedeng i release, this day lang. I'm wondering baka pinoyDVD member yun... hehe.

The PQ and SQ were very good, and seeing the trailer for Spider-Man 2.1 got me more excited...

Which got me thinking... (medyo OT) ma-rerelease kaya yung Spider-Man 2.1 dito (sa phil)?!
