I heard that in 2014, all projectors will no longer have the VGA connector which connects to older laptops. The current laptops have both VGA and HDMI. The new and upcoming laptops only have HDMI.

anyone here using Optoma hd21? so far this is the only available model that I can afford, though I'm into Panasonic brand but there's no available model lower than the ptae7000.

and 2d lang po ba yung Optoma hd21 and can't play 3d movies unlike Panasonic pta7000?
I'm just for 2d viewing only not that much interested on 3d viewing.

any reviews about Optoma hd21 or better yet I'll get Epson? which is better?

If 3D without gaming its the Epson tw8200 / 5030...
If 3D with gaming its the Sony hw40es...

For 3D viewing alone, the Epson is better according to reviews.

Picture Quality wise the Sony and Epson beats Panasonic AE8000... Saw all this 3 PJs during the Hifi Show

Both are price at 120K to 140K locally

Yup sis, medyo mas matimbang si Sony because of the lower input lag sa gaming.
Based from reviews online kasi very noticeabe daw ang input lag nang Epson sa gaming kahit may Game Mode cya...

3d with the Sony is quite good really , at the hifi show I tried the 3d demo of the LG , and the sony is comparable . I have not tried the epson though , but really I dont think I could watch 3d for a whole movie .

Kumuha dito sa office ng projector, NEC PA721X. 4k resolution na din pala ito. Gagamitin lang sa flag ceremony para ipalabas ang lupang hinirang. Hay, kung pwede nga lang iuwi. P230k ang kuha. Mura na ba yun?

Mura yan bro, if for office or company used. BUT for individual or home used, its very expensive & not practical.
