Probably it's better if you could get in touch with their office in Makati & look for Mam Aura, Leiden or Myla. I'm sure they will able to assist you.

Usually if you're registered under this forum your shipment address is written something like this:

ATTN: PinoyDVD.com / (your name here)
JOHNNY AIR CARGO
69-04 Roosevelt Avenue
Woodside, New York 11377
United States

or

JOHNNY AIR CARGO - NEW JERSEY
c/o JET CREUS / (your name here)
# 717 Newark Avenue Jersey City,
New Jersey 07306 United States

*So far I'm using the above two but others may have a slight different version.

The format I use is similar to this. At first, I had to point out to the JAC-Mega guys of the PinoyDVD discount (and told them to confirm with Myla, who processed my registration). I haven't had experience yet with this special promo rate yet though.

How about when I send via your New Jersey address? Lately, I've been using the NJ address instead of Woodside to avoid state sales taxes for Amazon (and other) purchases. Thanks!

Hi Ms. Aura,

Not sure I understand it correctly, but would it be possible for me to have a sports watch delivered from Amazon? I'm worried if such items are not permissible for cargo.

Thanks!!!

Hi Aura (YAB),

I think you have not responded to my queries before so can I make a follow up on that. I just happen to get the remaining boxes earlier and the same old people in Makati told me that VAT charges are being implemented as mandated by the JAC accounting dept. so which is true? Are you saying some of us can still get away with the VAT charges?  Most of the computations are incorrect because some are being charged at $5.50 per pound while my rates are $7.50.  They also used to waive off handling charges before but they won't in the recent receipts.

I hope you can give some clarification on this.

Thanks

Hi Ms. Aura,

I've had prior experience having packages shipped via Johnny Air, pero non-corporate kasi I haven't signed up yet. Since I usually only ship game CDs or DVDs (occasionally books, pero that's really a rare occurrence), I'm considering signing up with you so I can save a bit din kasi usually small and light lang naman yung packages.

When I sign up for an account with corporate and have something sent, what can I expect? I'm really more concerned about whether or not I'll be notified when my item is in the JAC office and it's due to ship/was shipped here to the Philippines. Would I be emailed the shipment number when my item is received and sent here?

It would really put my mind at ease if I have an idea na my package was gotten safely by JAC so if it's a standard procedure for the corporate account, I'll definitely sign up.

Hi Ms. Aura,

I've been emailing the email add you posted above twice but no success. I just want to have:

- latest procedures for registration, payment and collection

Ask them again. I had an item shipped from HK less than a month ago.  But I think its more expensive than having one shipped from US.

I would also want to sign up for a corporate account. I don't know how to go about it though. I have been ordering a lot of DVDs in the past but have them shipped to my cousin in the U.S. and whenever he comes to the Philippines, he would bring me a box of DVDs. I would usually order from deepdiscount and dvdpacific since they really offer bargain prices especially when they have their sales.  Unfortunately, my cousin is now living in Europe so there goes my free shipping. :D

I'm bummed that deepdiscount and dvdpacific don't ship to the Philippines. I've written them several times but they don't have any plans to ship here! Actually, dvdpacific previously shipped to the Philippines in the past years  but they're now under new management, and they removed the Philippines from their shipping destinations. I've also ordered from Amazon a few times and my gosh, their shipping rates are very high!

So now, I'll try JAC. I'll see how it goes.

I'm really worried about my latest Johnny Air package...it was shipped last September 20, but it is still not here. I contact the head office every day to ask about the status of my parcel. So far, they do not know what is taking so long. It seems the packages were offloaded to China and the Chinese carrier refuses to ship them here.

How long have you guys waited for a delayed shipment and what is the procedure to declare a lost package for a refund from JAC?

I'm so upset about my package because all of my salary last August was used to buy the contents of that package.....so far, no one can tell me what exactly is happening.

I see...I hope that there's a miracle and my package finally arrives then. From the time of shipment, its now 13 days.....all the other shipments are arriving on time already, skipping the September 20 set. What's more upsetting about it is that no one in Johnny Air can offer a solution or tell when the parcel will finally ship.

It's very unfair that all the other packages are arriving and the oldest one (Sept. 20 batch) is getting neglected.

I'm not even asking for a discount. I just really want to get my parcel. If JAC can't do anything about it, what is my next course of action? I can't exactly travel to China myself. I wish JAC has more control of what gets shipped here...it is their responsibility after all.  :'(

My usual waiting time is around 10-14 working days. Occasionally, it went up to 21 days & one or two cases above 21 days days.

sorbet, whom did you call or spoken to at the Makati head office? It's hard to specify exactly when the parcel will arrive but surely they can at least estimate?
