I've been using Johnny Air Cargo for 3 years now thanks to pinoydvd. I've been very satisfied with their service so far.

I've recently noticed that they started opening packages. My last three packages have JAC calendars inside them while the latest one has a broken seal(I took pictures). I've already asked Ms. myla and ms. Trixie over at philmug about this but got no reply. They state on their waybill that all packages pass through scanners so I'm curious why they need to open them then if they do pass through scanners? Also there's nothing on their T&C that there's a chance that they might open our package to check for prohibited goods.

I'm okay with them opening my package but what I would like is for them to be up front about it, state it in their
T&C or website. Someone at philmug posits that customs open the packages and Jac might just have inserted the calendars, however we all know that the packages come in bulk and that customs don't inspect them one by one.

My husband while getting our package at Megamall just a while ago saw someone else complaining about the seal being broken on their package too. Tsk, JAC might get a lawsuit in their hands of they don't put up a disclaimer somewhere about opening packages.

I was surprised as well. I've been using them for years but this was the first time it happened to me. I bought some 'goodies' from Amazon on black friday. I recently got the package from johnny air, and the box was obviously opened and damaged. I did not bother to open and check as I trust that my stuff will still be intact after using them for years. But when I came home and opened the box, surprised that I was missing 2 blu-ray discs :( There goes my black friday savings...

You should definitely complain. This is the consequence that they have to face once they start opening packages. If this happened to me before I found out that they're opening packages, I would have chalked it up to the US postal service, I wouldn't put the blame on JAC, after all they have a good track record with me. However since I know first hand that they actually open packages, the blame rests on them since they're the last one who handled the package and the fact that they opened it, what's our assurance that they properly resealed it?

I hope you bring it to their attention. Now I'm afraid of shipping high end items with them.

Ms. Myla never bothered to reply to me again via email, good thing I just called them up and Derrell (or was it "Daryll?") attended to my concern.

Hi Aura,

I registered and tried tracking a recent package from Amazon, using the UPS tracking number they provided.

But I keep getting an "Invalid Tracking Number" error.

Hi, new member here and a first time JAC customer.
I am excited for my shipment to arrive this week. But, will I be able to get a discount being
a member of PinoyDVD even if I'm new here?
It was my first shipment from forwarding services, and I researched thoroughly on this.
I was charged 12 lbs. for my item, and I expect the cost of my shipment will be very high,
so I am hoping to get a discount, even a bit. Can anyone tell me if its possible?
