Same question. I believe it matters since one state charges sale tax while the other one doesn't.

Both charge sales tax already. Though NJ charges less but the difference is negligible if you are really not ordering in bulk.

Thanks for the clarification. Mind to share the negligible difference? Let us say Im ordering 4 pairs of shoes at 189USD each.

If I bought something that requires tax and duties in the US and have it delivered to JAC, will JAC shoulder the costs first, and charge me when the package gets here?

JAC had shipped my items last May 2011 consists of 55"LED HDTV, 3D bluray player, 6boxes of 3D glasses & Onkyo TXNR609 AVR and they arrived in my door step safely w/o damage. The charges are not that costly, it's fair enough w/o tax appeared in the invoice. I was wandering why? But now, they said that the tax will now be included.
