Depending on the exact weight (7 lbs ++), between Php5-K to Php6-K but that's what we regularly pay for incoming 15" laptops. Outbound shouldn't be to far off. JAC can probably give you a top-of-mind estimate so I suggest giving them a call.

hindi ba mayroon silang $100 premium for incoming laptops? (to phils). i wanted to buy a laptop from the states and have it shipped to johnnyair but they said mayroon premium of $100 per laptop.

:o wow a whoppping 5-6k? I thought it would be around 3-4k only since my laptop is only 7lbs. Ganun ba talaga kamahal, mine will be sent just for repair lang kasi.

I have filled up an application in JAC SM Megamall branch and I'm very eager to use their services. I'm still awaiting for their e-mail/s. This is in preparation for the incoming releases of blockbuster DVDs later this year. Hope their services are as good as advertised. ::)

I'm just wondering, I used JAC before a lot of times. But there was this one time that my package cost me P2500 (for a $5 item - yung guy who shipped it kasi used a heavy box and lots of bubblewrap). So I decided not to get the package na lang. After that I haven't used their service. It's already 3 years since that incident (so I guess they just kept the item). And now I'm planning to use their services again. I wonder if I'm banned.

Thumbs up for JAC for their up-to-date services!! I have made three (3) shipments already within two (2) weeks and I am satisfied.

Good to hear your wonderful experience with JAC reeves24. :)

Wow...P2,500 fee for a $5 item?  :o How big was the item or to be exact what was the item? I supposed you can try to reapply again provided JAC can't recognise you or assuming you're using a different name/address, etc.

I've been using JAC for more than 2 years na. Not a single complaint or lost package.  ;)

moviebuff , try to give them a call to verify. Phone 7503818 or 8137228 :)

Don't be lazy brummie. We are also lazy to mention here.... ;D
Anyway, if I recall correctly a minimum of 1 pound ($5.50) and a service charge of $5 per order is charged. Pls verify with JAC if there's any change (don't be lazy again)... :P

;D I already tried the lazy way of doing things by sending an email to JAC instead of tiring myself by lifting the handset and dialing and then speaking.

Well with the increase in fees of Amazon.com looks like I need to switch to JAC now. What is the first step in using their service?

I already signed with JAC (Megamall) last Thursday. Just filled up a form and that's it, they replied the next day with the instructions.

Now, all I have to do is to actually purchase from Amazon and indicate the US address JAC had provided.

Is the exchange rate they use comparable to the reference rate of the BSP?

The exchange rate they're using now is: $1.00 = P47.02

My last order was at $1.00 = P47.05

Looks like now is a good time to order from US as the exchange rate for Peso is strong $1.00 = P44.90 :)

Ya excellent time to order..especially towards Christmas. Usually going towards December peso will be stronger due to OFW remittances for Christmas. Good news for us.
