Hi guys!  Aura Black here,    Allow me to thank all of you for your continued support on JOHNNY AIR's services.  And Mr. DFD, thank you very much for making this site available for us. 

I want to make this short and simple as possible to make it clear for everyone interested with our services:

1.  Your shipment is not limited to DVDs as long as the item is not restricted, prohibited or banned.
2.  Your special rate as a PINOYDVD member applies to shipments forwarded to JAC-NY and JAC-HK (we have branches in LAX & SFO).
3.  Yes, JAC-HK exists run by 1 staff, Eric Manuel.  Suppliers / forwarders must call his mobile first prior to any deliveries.
4.  Minimum of 1 lb. per invoice at $ 6.00/lb + discounted handling fee of $ 5.00 for a week's shipment from JAC-NY (received from Monday to Saturday).
5.  Please register first to avail of the special rates. Kindly ask for the TSA FORM at our Makati Head office or at JAC- Megamall branch.  Inform them you are a PINOYDVD member. 
6.  We may e-mail you the forms, rates and procedures if it is more convenient.  Simply text your e-mail address to 0917-8280788 / 0917-3897434.  Or e-mail us at [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected]  However, you still have to download, print and submit said TSA form with photocopies of 2 valid I.D.s.
7.  If your shipment is not expensive nor highly taxable but bulky & heavy, we still offer a discount on the weight charges.  JAC rates are flexible.  We just need to be informed.
8. Last, marunong po akong mag-tagalog kaya huwag kayong mahiya, pangalan ko lang ang imported

As I understand it, the minimimum weight per shipment is 1 lb at $6.00/lb with handling fee of $5.00 per shipment.  How come for 2 DVDs, the weight is 2 lbs?  Even with the box, it will not reach 1 lb.

I think minimum weight of 2 lbs is the standard for JAC. 1lb is speciate rate for pdvd members.

JAC is really inconsistent.  I have 2 packages from Amazon arrived at the same week.  They (JAC-SM Megamall) charged me the ff:

      2 single disc dvds in small package - 2lbs @$6.50/lbs + VAT + handling fee
      1 dvd game in small package - 2lbs @$6.50/lbs + VAT + handling fee

To sum it, I paid almost Php 1.7k for the above shipments.

Did JAC increased they courier service/s?  I usually order from Amazon.com bi-weekly so I will pay 3,400Php/month shipping fees for 4 dvd movies & 2 dvd games.  Can anyone (JAC/PDVD Members) help me to confirm if this is the correct rate? Thanks.   

actually you can weight your packages in JAC mega. they have a weighing scale there. 6.50 is also standard rate of JAC while 6.00 /lb is special rate.

Once they receive your application, it's as good as processed.. Just wait for the email or you can call them directly..

Well my package arrived in the NJ post office a few hours ago according to Amazon.com. Assuming it gets delivered to the JAC office today (Thursday US time) how long do I have to wait before it gets here?

How about custom fees?meron pa ba? Nataga ako sa customs sa makati nag exact $100 kasi value ng items pag $100 daw may tax na aside dun sa P35 na payment kahit proclaimed as gift(MGS4 LE + 4dvds+1cd).so I have to pay them P1600+ before i was able to claim my package

I guess for 3 bluray discs, less than 1 lb yan.. so babayaran mo lang is $11.00.  Pag malaking box ang ginamit ng amazon, max na ang 2 lbs, so you will pay around $17.00 sa JAC.

Call the local office of Johnny Air. They can find out when the package arrives in NJ

More or less.. But the weight can be the actual weight or the volume weight whichever is higher.. If nakadouble box ang laptop mo when delivered sa JAC, then the volume weight probably ang gagamitin nila sa pag calculate ng shipping fee and not the actual weight..

Puwede yata COD.. If door to door, may additional fee yata.. I usually get my packages sa office nila dito sa Davao..
