Puwede yata COD.. If door to door, may additional fee yata.. I usually get my packages sa office nila dito sa Davao..

thanks oreoshake, saan kaya mas magandang i-address at mabilis ang delivery? sa JAC-NY o JAC-NJ?

Do Jersey.  If you use NY shipment will get taxed.

Johnny Air is opening (opened?) a new branch in Sen Gil Puyat Ave cor Dian St!!!  Just 2 minutes away ( a block away) from my office, if I hop to it on one foot :).  It's on the second floor on top of the Mercury Drug store.

Arggh!  Must resist the urge to order now that it's more convenient for me.

Seriously, I don't know if it opened already but the signage has already been put up, and unlike the Aguirre head office branch, the signage here is more prominent.  Mmmm, they might be moving.  Paging Johnny Air people for clarifications...

Usually it should not take more than 2 weeks, there was only one instance for me that it took like 18 to 20 days ata. Anyway you can always call them to follow up on the status.

My order at JAC haven't arrived yet. Ginamit ko is sea freight, medyo mahaba kasi, Jayr told me 30-45 days ang shipping so ok pa rin. It was delivered at New Jersey last May. August na wala pa din. Sabi baka next week dumating container van nila and they will inform me once na makuha nya yung manifesto... Haaaay.

You can track your package online if the merchant ships ur items with couriers capable of online tracking.. or you can just wait for the local JAC to call u..

if you use amazon, you can track your package through amazon, and you will know if it has arrived in jac's nj office. from there, its a quick 3 days or sometimes a week (depends on cut-off) before it reaches their makati office or ortigas office.  ;)

More or less.. But the weight can be the actual weight or the volume weight whichever is higher.. If nakadouble box ang laptop mo when delivered sa JAC, then the volume weight probably ang gagamitin nila sa pag calculate ng shipping fee and not the actual weight..

I have inquired with Johnny Air Cagayan de Oro branch. Their office is just a stone throw away.  They have outrageous rates! I think they are overcharging me .

It's $8 per pound here and not $6 ... There rates were not standardize.

For laptop. Its $8/lb plus $50 handling fee plus $30 processing fee. I don't know where the hell they get that processing fee.

All electronics have $50 handling fee while personal effects starts at $20.  They said basta electronics kailangan magbayad nang $50 handling fee.

My question is what if i bought an IPOD or digicam would that mean i would pay the $50 handling fee? I think it's outrageous considering that an IPOD is a very small item and buying online would defeat the purpose of getting considerable savings.

Any Johnny Air personnel here that can help me with my questions.

Finally Aura Black texted me that my projector screen will be arriving next week together with their july shipment!! After 3 months of waiting makikita ko na din ang binili ko :-) Bought it last week of May, delivered at JAC new jersey 1st week of June and hopefully nasa manila address ko by 2nd week of September!!
Ordered at The final click 12' high power projection screen.

Super bigat daw 4 people nagbubuhat ng isa box!

Streetsmart,

Nope inorder ko is the manual type kasi masmura lumalabas kaysa sa tela. Then plan ko is gupitin na lang kung liliitan ko yung screen at ilagay sa frame.

As of now ang plan ko ay gamitin ang whole 12' width for 2.35 set-up.

Harap, likod, sides and ceiling.

well, sana nga nagkakakitaan tayo kahit for some listening sessions hehehe.

Loved the service.  Wala pa sablay so far. ang critical lang is yung rounding to the highest pound ...kaya dapat may idea ka kung ano weight ng box(with packing matls) ng shipper mo.

ako nga naghihintay lang mabigyan ng go signal ni mrs.  medyo nasabihan na ako the other day dahil sa dami ng local purchases ko. hehehe

anyway,  good luck and enjoy the next BOX!

As I understand it, the minimimum weight per shipment is 1 lb at $6.00/lb with handling fee of $5.00 per shipment.  How come for 2 DVDs, the weight is 2 lbs?  Even with the box, it will not reach 1 lb.

The above was posted by Ms. Aura as the guideline for PDVD members using the JAC services.

Strange. I registered with JAC but I'm being charged for $6.50/lb. I'll sort this out before I order online for my first shipment.

Super saver shipping (SSS) is only available for items sold by Amazon.  If you add items from a merchant selling in Amazon, then that item is not eligible for SSS.  SSS is only for orders (single or cumulative) $25 and above.

Okay, so if all purchased from Amazon, then I can still add. Read the note which states you cannot add an item if already checked out if using SSS, no mention about the clause regarding merchant purchase, or maybe I am just missing something.

Okay, so if all purchased from Amazon, then I can still add. Read the note which states you cannot add an item if already checked out if using SSS, no mention about the clause regarding merchant purchase, or maybe I am just missing something.

Here's the fineprint with regards to SSS:

Super Saver Shipping

FREE on Orders $25 and Over (some restrictions apply)

How do I take advantage of FREE Super Saver Shipping?

    1. Place at least $25 of eligible Amazon.com products in your Shopping Cart. (Eligible items will say "eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping" next to their price.)

    2. Proceed to checkout.

    3. Ship your items to a single U.S. address.

    4. Select Super Saver Shipping as your shipping speed. Please note that your order may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to ship out from our fulfillment center(s). Transit time for Super Saver Shipping orders is 5 to 9 business days after shipping.

    5. Select "Group my items into as few shipments as possible" as your shipping preference.

    6. Place your order, and enjoy the free shipping!

The Fine Print

    * If you qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping but your order also contains one or more ineligible items, you'll be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items.

    * Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order's eligibility for Super Saver Shipping.

    * Applies only to orders with at least $25 of qualifying merchandise, excluding gift-wrap charges and taxes, at the Amazon.com, CDNOW.com, Waldenbooks.com, and Virginmega.com Web sites.

    * Excludes items that do not include a statement that they are eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping next to their price. Also excludes certain oversize items, e-documents, software downloads, music downloads, and gift cards.

    * Eligible items fulfilled by Amazon.com may not be eligible if fulfilled by a third-party seller. Look for the "FREE Super Saver Shipping" next to the price in all "New, used, and collectible" listings to see if the item is eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping from any particular seller.

    * The price of shipping a magazine subscription is already included in the subscription price. However, the price of a magazine subscription can be applied toward the $25 order total needed to qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping.

    * Applies to U.S. delivery addresses in the 50 states only, including Alaska and Hawaii. Geographic shipping restrictions may apply to particular products; for example, some Tools & Hardware items may not be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii using FREE Super Saver Shipping.

    * Applies to APO/FPO addresses when using a United States ZIP Code only.

    * Weekend delivery cannot be requested. We use a variety of carriers to deliver orders, and some do not deliver on weekends.

    * Some special product, order, or handling fees may still apply.

    * May be used in conjunction with a promotional code. The qualifying amount is the total amount of the products purchased before the promotional codeis applied.

    * You will not receive FREE Super Saver Shipping on your order if any eligible items are canceled, bringing the total below $25.

    * May be used with 1-Click® orders. To take advantage of this offer, please follow these steps:

         1. Once you've ordered at least $25 of eligible products, click the "Review or edit your 1-Click orders" button on the 1-Click® confirmation page
         2. On the next page, which summarizes your order, click the Change button next to Shipping Speed.
         3. Finally, select Super Saver Shipping as your shipping speed

    * We reserve the right to change or discontinue FREE Super Saver Shipping at any time.

Here's what I read:

Adding Items to Your Order

You can add items to orders you have placed with Amazon.com provided the order hasn't already entered the shipping process. Here's how:

View the status of your open orders to make sure your earlier order hasn't entered the shipping process. Please bear in mind that items shown as shippable within 24 hours may enter the shipping process immediately after you place your order, and it may not be possible to combine such items with existing orders.
Order the new item you want to add by visiting the item's product information page, adding it to your Shopping Cart, and proceeding through checkout.
After you place your order, return to Your Account and click the "Combine orders" link.
Select the orders you wish to combine and click the "Combine orders" button. If the orders you're combining have different shipping or payment options, we will ask you to confirm the options of the new order.

Click here to combine orders you have already placed.

Note: We're unable to combine or add items to the following types of orders:

Orders where items have already entered the shipping process
Orders to be sent via free Super Saver Shipping
Orders for gift certificates
Orders paid for in total by gift certificate
Replacement orders generated by our customer service department
Orders for cell phone products and services
Orders placed using a corporate account
Orders placed with Amazon Merchants
Orders placed on the Waldenbooks teamed with Amazon.com store, using Waldenbooks Gift Card funds
Gold Box orders

My order is above $100, worried in adding more it might not be combined with my earlier order.
