is that the same room? i mean from the picture above to the one below it? laki ng pinagbago ah.. pero sana nga pina-carpet mo na lang instead of putting parquet for acoustic reasons but still ganda ng improvement. Congrats!

Thanks bro sa compliment.    Wala na akong balak pa carpet, wood parquet na talaga choice ko from the beginning. I think mas ok yun sound pag naka carpet pero from experience ng brother ko whose bedroom is carpeted nakaka sinusitis yun.

Thanks pekspert! Not the same room.  Hindi ko na binalak mag carpet, I think wood parquet is the next best thing. Ang alam ko basta don't use tiles or cement floors, malakas kasi ang sound reflections nito.

Ikaw talaga pareng deo hot na hot Let's just wait for the room to be completely finished  And it does not say having a carpeted floor will make over all sound better. IME it should be balanced lang of absorbtive , diffusive and reflective materials within the room Den congrats in advance,very nice color indeed If in case may echo room mo you can always add AREA RUGS to tame it parquet or wood laminates still elegant for me

I would say this is the end of the beginning. Now you begin to do the endless improvement of the dedicated theater.

Thanks ricky! The recliners arrived yesterday, you are right about the correct balance of diffusive, reflective & materials that absorb sound.  The recliners improved the effect of the subwoofer, cancel some reflections in the front speakers also.  Will post pics soon.

Thanks streetsmart! My 1st improvement is the dv-600 because of the hdmi connection. 

When you connect the hdmi cable, try to anchor it to other cables sa tabi nya. Ang problema ng hdmi cable is that physically, it is so big and heavy that over time, it starts to sag, tapos nagiging loose connection.

Is the ceiling white? Baka malakas ang light reflection sa ceiling dahil nga white sya. Papangit ang contrast ratio.
